We really enjoyed this super-friendly family-run guesthouse, which is great value for the price per night. Our standard-room (nr 1) with fan and air-conditioning, was airy and clean, with a comfortable ample bed and a spotless white bathroom with one of the best showers we had during our trip. We had no trouble with noise (maybe because the room was... More

I stayed in Martha's guesthouse for two days. It was clean and the wifi worked. They organized my ATM cave tour. My room had a queen bed and a twin bed. It would have been a good value for a family. Breakfast is not included.

We stayed at Martha's for 4 nights and can't rave about our experience enough! Marin, our waiter/bar tender/local tour advisor with much to share about his country and all of the sights to see, was an outstanding host. Martha's is centrally located to beautiful Mayan sites, cave tubing and as well as the fun San Ignacio night life. The hotel... More

Stayed in Martha's new property, Martha's Inn. This was promised to be quieter than the downtown location, and it was. Reception and check-in are at Martha's guesthouse, so don't book into the inn unless you got a Belizean cellphone - there is no staff at the inn, and no phone, and it is in a residential area a good 10... This was a little piece of luxury in the middle of San Ignacio ... If you can't handle noise, crowded streets, not-perfectly-modern accommodations, then don't travel to Central America. The staff at Martha's was incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. The rooms are precious, the restaurant is quite good, and the location is great. It will be noisy, but you won't... More

We stayed in this guesthouse for two nights during our trip to Belize. Our room was on the second or third floor (there are no lifts). We were put in a suite and were surprised to find two queen size beds in the room. We had a nice view from our balcony. The bathroom seemed a bit old but was... More

We spent five days at Martha's. We had two rooms and two results. The suite that my wife and I had was very nice and roomy. It was cleaned daily ( except for the coffee pot ).Our room was at the back so traffic noise wasn't bad , even though the river was over the lower bridge and all traffic... More

My friend and I stayed in rooms number 8 and 9, both very tastefully decorated. There was some noise, someone was practicing drums in a nearby building but that soon stopped. The restaurant has good food. I don't like breakfast type food but really liked the stew beef and fried jacks, try it!! and also the chaya with coconut rice.... More

We stayed at Martha's for five nights, and we were not overly impressed. It was hard to sleep due to the road noise, not the fault of the innkeepers, but something to be aware of before booking. Also, we had a room on the third floor, and the people in the only room above us on the fourth floor could... More

Our first night was rough. The shower broke, spewed water everywhere. It was too late to have anyone fix it. The management was a bit testy. A cockroach showed up, I think because the bathroom floor was full of water. They fixed the shower the next day and no more cockroaches showed up. The beds were very comfortable, the room... More
