Parrot Nest Lodge offers rustic cabins and treehouses in a beautiful shady setting under the jungle canopy. The Lodge is a short walk from the village of Bullet Tree Falls and a few miles from the town of San Ignacio. The owners, Theo and Marcus, are very helpful and accomodating, and can set visitors up with guides for cave-tubing, visits... More

I was not aware that this was a property where facilities were shared until I arrived but to my surprise it was not that bad. The owners were nice, the food was good and the other guests were friendly. It was different for me to have to leave my "room" perched up in a tree to use the bathroom at... More

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. It's a rustic spot for sure. I've stayed in fancy Eco Lodges that are really fancy hotels in the jungle. This is not one of those. I'd say it's more of a huge step up from camping. But that's exactly what we were looking for, so we were very happy... More

Great vibe (like everywhere else in Belize). Not luxury, unless you are comparing it to camping or hosteling. Hosts were super friendly and helpful but kind of scattered (we were there during xmas weeks. Many downer was the blaring music from the bar across the river. Bring ear plus.

The cabins are rustic but comfortable. Windows are screened and there was a fan. We slept well and woke to the sounds of the birds all around. Theo and Marcus were wonderful hostess and host. The food was excellent and they handled our dietary restrictions well. It was fun to join the rest of the guests from so many places... More

When you first walk up, you see an awesome dining area and porch that over looks the river. We were greeted by Marcus who swiftly took our luggage to our place. My husband and I were placed in a cozy two bed bungalow in the back of the estate that had a cute porch, two comfy chairs and a hammock.... More

If you are seeking a camping adventure but with the basic amenities - this is a great place! We stayed in the Treehouse and loved it - it is a very cozy room, nothing except the bed fits here, but it was a lot of fun! We could see the trees when lying down and hear the birds in the... More

I feel almost as though I'm going back home in a few days. Last year, we travelled to Belize (my first time), and we spent five days at Parrot Nest. Definitely my favourite part of my visit to Belize; it was one of the happiest times I have ever had. Marcus is a fantastic host, the food is great and... More

Staying at Parrot's Nest Lodge was definitely a highlight of our Belize trip, we originally had booked two nights but stayed an extra night, I only wish we had stayed longer. The food was delicious, the view was beautiful, the surrounding area was calm and peaceful, the cabin was quiet and cozy and there are five very lovable animals living... More

Had a great time hanging out in the jungle at Parrot Nest! This was a good mid-range option that felt very safe, but like we weren't breaking the bank. Marcus is very helpful - he gave us a lot of tips about interesting things to do, and helped us coordinate our travel. We also had a great time hanging out... More
