We stayed in a cabana which was great! Enough room for 3 and it was nice to have a screened porch. It was a hike up the hill but it's easy enough to walk down the hill and take a taxi back. We did walk up the one night. The restaurant was great and reasonable. Staff was helpful arranging tours... More

I stayed in one of the Cabanas overlooking San Ignacio, the Cabana was a much better choice of the regular rooms, just for the ambiance. Clean, comfortable, excellent vibe! The staff were incredibly Awesome, helped with anything I needed. I would have rated 5 stars but JJ's bar down the hill from Cahal Pech was quite loud some nights. Food... More

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights while we visited all the tourist attractions in western Belize. The hotel is located on top of a hill and has spectacular views of the cities of San Ignacio and Santa Elena and the surrounding countryside. It is also a 3 minute walk to one of the best ruins - Cahal Pech.... More

We booked this hotel because they were able to provide us with a customized package for our family at a reasonable price that included tours and meals, and they had accommodations with two bedrooms and air conditioning. We knew not to expect a five-star resort, but we were very pleasantly surprised to be treated to an amazing staff at the... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but came for breakfast one morning as we new there was an amazing view. Unfortunately there was a lot of cloud coverage that day so didn't get to see much. Breakfast was ok but I was expecting better from a resort like this. It was a buffet I am not sure if we arrived... More

We just returned from a wonderful 5 days in the Cayo and Cahal Pesh. We stayed in a cabana ...rustic but clean and with spectacular views. Didn't see the hotel rooms, but feel the cabana a much better accomodation. We took day trips but enjoyed the outdoor bar and restaurant at night. Too cool to swim. Friendly, very helpful staff.... The staff tried hard and was friendly, however the hotel fell short. Not as advertised on their website. We have a few questions for the management. 1. Why was the breakfast layout so disorganized. It was rather disturbing to see the papaya placed above the industrial toaster. Similarly, the milk was across the buffet from the cereal and coffee. 2.... More

We were in the main building, not the bungalows. The rooms are very cute. I'd say they are "rustic" but very comfortable. Our first night we had no hot water. Upon request the next morning (we were too lazy to worry about it that night), it was fixed in 10 minutes. One point of note-the roof is tin, and can... More

We recently booked a 3 night stay here only to try to leave the day we checked in. The hotel is on the top of a hill so it is extremely noisy. There is a new bar below so expect cheesy music until all hours. The worst part was that the website just doesn't reflect the place at all. It... More

My Husband & I stayed at Cahal Pech Village resort on 1-16-2015 with a check out date of 1-19-2015 reservations made through Booking.com. The staff was friendly and took good care of our needs. The cabana was awesome with the exception of the neighborhood dogs barking all night and the roosters. On the morning of the 18th we decided we... More
