We did a road trip around Belize. This was our second stop. The town of San Ignacio, itself, was interesting. Reasonably priced food and places to drink were available. This hotel as many stated, overlooks the town. The pool area was very good. However, the room less so. We had a two bed room. When we came back from dinner in... More

We have visited the hotel during our round trip (car) through Belize. The hotel is situated on top of the mountain and therewith, offers a beautiful view over the city. However, the noise of the town is horrible and kept us awake the half of the night. The hotel offers their swimming pool to non-guests for 10 $bz. As we... More

The view from the resort and our room was great! The staff was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. We even got a ride into town one night from one of the porters. Our room was appointed comfortably and I had no issues with the beds or A/C. The fan was off balance and caused some noise. The nearby locals and... More

I can't add much more than what was previously said except that I just returned from the Lodge and the stay was wonderful. The view is beautiful, the staff are warm and very friendly and the tour guides adventurous. You must try night canoeing on the river with Dora. She is a fascinating woman and great guide. Don't count on... More

The staff for booking and checking in were great. Helped book the ATM cave and transposition to Placencia. Beds not very comfortable and ac wasn't working so great the second night. The place was clean and had hot water. Stayed in the hotel part so could pick up a little WiFi. Service in the restaurant was super slow. Food was... More

The best thing about this hotel is the view as it sits right on top of a mountain. Also the pool area and bar area is so cool, as well as the villas that some people we were with could stay in, they were so big! The rooms in the main building were smaller but functional and had balconies! The... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's on top of a hill with views over the town of San Ignacio. However, there are a few buts..... The first is the price. It's not cheap by Belezian comparisons. The room is comfortable but a bit spartan. There was no hair dryer, no refrigerator, no complementary bottles of water... More

We stayed at Cahal Pech for a few nights. Staff were very helpful arranging transfers and tours as well as giving good advice. The rooms are basic but for the price, they're reasonable. We stayed in one of the rooms up at the top which meant we had a fantastic view of the town from our private balcony. Location wise,... More

We booked here many times years ago and had been disappointed in one of our stays; however, once again we wanted to try this location. Obviously we are satisfied with this hotel and the staff as we chose to stay here on 3 separate occasions in the past month. There have been numerous improvements with the rooms and the food,... Our family of 10 booked an amazing week through Lenny at Cahal Pech. We wanted an adventure on the "jungle side" of Belize and Lenny was absolutely amazing at putting together a full package of experiences that gave us a truly "unbeliezable" experience! On our arrival, Hubert picked us up at the airport in a very nice van and from... More
