The view and the seen was breath taking but the service was horrible, my fellow committee members and I were discriminated, the room were not clean and poorly kept and to top it off the food was uncook.....

Sitting on top of a hill, the views from the three pools, restaurant and bar are pretty breathtaking. This, coupled with the service would make me come back again. The cabanas with private balcony were very comfortable, especially loved the bathroom designs. Try the selection of fish in the restaurant one night, and head down to the village with restaurant... Right next to the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins, on the top of a hill, the lodge offers a beautiful view over San Ignacio. The cabanas are comfortable, clean and charming, and the swimming pool is a good way to refresh after a day climbing in the jungle. Very attentive staff, good value.

Located right next to the Mayan ruins, and with a panoramic view of San Ignacio and Spanish Lookout, this hotel offers great service and good food. Stay in the cabanas rather than the rooms. The swimming pool is great after a day around the ruins.

My wife, daughter, and I spent three days at the Cahal Pech Resort in late March, 2014. We purchased a package that included lodging (a two-bedroom suite in the main building), all meals, three tours, and transfers from and to Belize City. The price was competitive with other options we considered and more convenient. Overall, we were quite pleased. Both... More

This is my second visit to this hotel. This time I spent three days and rented a cabana. Again, there were problems with the hot water supply. In fact, on all mornings there was little to no hot water. Additionally, the bath mat remained a towel cut in half and stitched at the cut end. Our broken "Samsonic" television only... More

We produced the Maya Mountain Adventure Challenge at the beautiful Cahel Pech Resort in February. Teams from 7 countries traveled to San Ignacio to compete in this inaugural expedition race across the Maya Mountains. www.mayamountainadventurechallnge.com In spite of the logistical challenges of moving this many racers & all their gear & equipment from the airport, the folks at Cahel Pech... I've been debating writing this review for a long time... but the lack of customer service has struck me so much that I had to finally take the plunge. My family and I visited this establishment for a few days as we made a day trip to Tikal around the new year. They picked us up from the airport, provided... More

Dear Sir, First of all allow me to apologize to you for the inconvenience, that caused you to not fully enjoy your stay with us. We did an investigation and found out, that a guest from a group of Japanese elderly people staying with us that same night, had taken a sleeping pill, which as a result had caused this... More

After staying elsewhere in San Ignacio for a night, we spent our last day and night at Cahel Pech Village Resort. When we were looking for someplace to swim the day before in the incredible heat that is San Ignacio, our local driver recommended we try Cahel Pech. For a very small fee they allowed us to swim in their... More

We loved the hilltop view from our rooms balcony. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Not many rooms being used during our visit. An easy taxi ride to town for food and such. Yes the place is simple and older but not bad for the price. Pacz tours were who we used for our ATM and Tikal tours
