We loved staying here and using it as a base for exploring the Cayo district. The owner was exceedingly helpful, polite and gracious. We had 2 rooms for our group of 3 teens and the sitting area and balcony was a great way to relax and "spread out." As we were on a tight budget we did not spring for... more

We stayed at Cassa Blanca for a week in June not knowing just what to expect. It came highly recommended so we gave it a try. We are moving to the area from Texas and just needed a room w/ air and hot water. What we got was much more. The rooms were clean, the staff was great, the location... more

This is a really nice place to stay in San Ignacio, especially for the price. Clean and comfortable. Convenient to eating and shopping. Be sure to request a/c if available. Just did not like the street noise (trucks, honking horns, yelling people). I have stayed in a lot of places in and around San Ignacio. I prefer not staying on... more

Way to go, Betty! This little hotel has the ideal location in downtown San Ignacio. The hostess/owner made us feel right at home from the beginning. The room was great and equipped with hot water, TV and Internet (for $5). When we got there late in the afternoon and were looking for something to do, we scooted up the hill... more

This facility provided a comfortable place for relaxation, sleep and to shower. It was clean as it was safe. The staff was very helpful and the cost of staying there was $30.00 per night. They provide you with a television, hot and cold running water (extra for air condition) and room service. You also have access to a kitchen and... more

The location of Casa Blanca can not be beat. The patio overlooking the busy street gave us a great place to meet with other guests while enjoying a Belikin from the corner store. At about 7PM a local music teacher plays a recorder with Gusto across from the hotel. It makes for a slow end to a busy day. The... more

Casa Blanca is a good base to tour downtown San Ignacio. There are good places to eat right across the street, and plenty of bars and shopping within short walking distance. The market is just a few blocks away. Our rooms were clean and spacious. The air conditioner worked well, and when used with the ceiling fan, we stayed plenty... more

Betty and the rest of the staff were spot on with recommendations for taxis and other services. The hotel is centrally located in town, just a few steps from groceries, restaurants, the central market, etc. The guest kitchen and dining room are perfect for preparing a meal with items purchased at the market and BBQ chicken purchased at the bakery... more

This was a great little hotel in the heart of San Ignacio. There aren't very many good options in this town, but this place was perfect. The rooms are very clean, and the rate is unbeatable ($30 US for a room with a bathroom and air conditioning). All in all this was a great place to spend a night in... more
