As others have commented this is a quirky place but perfectly comfortable for a few nights. Access to the kitchen is really helpful and the staff were friendly. We were told that the a/c was $20 USD extra a night but we didn't bother as it wasn't too hot. San Ignacio is plagued to stray dogs so the extra grill... More

I arrived here with an Intrepid group, and we were fascinated by the decor of the place - it almost feels like you're staying in your grandmother's house! With the little knick knacks, old furniture and traditional dressing tables, it's very homey :-) But it's clean, has good size beds, a kitchen area where you can store and make your... More

Booked last minute 2 weeks ago and Señora Betty was very accommodating. For the price, can't beat this one centrally located on Burns Avenue. There's building construction next door and music from the bars across the street, but the a/c drowns out all the nice. Oh yes, the a/c is highly recommended anyway due to humidity. I wasn't able to... More

I liked Casa Blanca because it was a great place to base myself for several days of exploring the Cayo region for those wanting good value for money. It is central in San Ignacio (the bus stop is 50m down the road), it was very clean, had comfortable beds, free WIFI and had a shared kitchen living area which made... More

We reserved the air conditioned room for $50 per night. We were given a clean room and clean bed to sleep in with air conditioning that worked, hot water for our shower and the ladies downstairs were very helpful. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this isn't the place for you. But if you are only concerned with a... More

We ended up here, because our first choices (the cheapest of the cheap places) were full. Casa Blanca was very nice, clean bathroom, clean room, clean public rooms. We opted out of air conditioning and were fine with a fan. The cable tv was nice, mostly English, with a few Spanish channels. The wi-fi signal was strong in our room.... More

We arrived in San Ignacio on Sunday, August 10th at 9:00 pm after a 3 hour bus ride from Belize City. We were greeted by a young lady who went and got Betty. We were greeted warmly by name and led to our room. We paid $50 US for a room w/2 beds and an air conditioner. The room was... More

I would refer to this as a back-packers' guest house rather than a hotel. We stayed there two nights nights as part of an Intrepid tour. I understand the cost is c60 Belize dollars per night. But air con is charged at an additional 20 USD per night. If you don't pay the money, it's very uncomfortable. We had the... More

A basic guest house, clean and in a good location. They provide a communal kitchenette that we didn't use but was a nice touch. Small bathroom, the room had a single and a double bed, both comfortable and a ceiling fan. Rooms had air con but at an additional cost of 20 US dollars per night, this seemed expensive to... More

San Ignacio is small, and you can easily make yr way around it on foot, but Casa Blanca does have a nice location. The property is clean. Their is safety gate as well as a front door. They have bottled water for sale downstairs. All of the rooms are upstairs, and I would recommend a room with A/C. The shower... More
