Very well organized system for reservations/booking. Betty has a personal touch that keeps you coming back. This is a very comfortable and affordable "Guest House"; there is a common area which has a very clean kitchen, dining room area and a lounging area. It is decorated throughout with many little knick knacks pictures. There is a very cool ceramic Black... More

I stayed a full week at Casa Blanca in September, 2014. I chose based on rates and location. It gave me a chance to be a part of the "real" Belize rather than the pseudo-USA LIFE in the resorts. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The staff was friendly but professional. A variety of restaurants were only a few steps... More

Low cost hotel with descent accommodation and nice people. Its central location makes it easy to walk around but we were there on Friday night and it was quite noisy with the A/C or music (even though we were not giving directly onto the street). Should be good for people looking for a good time on the town, not so... More

We stayed at Casa Blanca Guest House for 4 days in Feb. 2015. The location is perfectly located on Burns Ave. right downtown and within walking distance to most attractions. Betty (the owner) could not have been nicer and was extremely helpful in giving directions during our stay. I believe the Guest house received Hotel of the year in 2003... More

My wife and I stayed here for almost a week while we toured San Ignacio area activities. The property itself is a little weathered, but very on par with what you can expect in most conventional central American hotels (especially in the $40/night range). Most importantly, the beds are comfortable, it's safe, and hot water always worked. The stove-less kitchen... More

Rating is based on Central America standards. Don't expect luxury if you are traveling here. Spent one night cause Martha's Guesthouse didn't have room for us or we would have stayed there one more night. Easy access to center of town, ATM, walking street, etc. Rooms are basic. View of another building out the window but it was quiet. Wireless... More

It has everything you need, it's clean, and it promotes socialization with other guests with it's layout. I also would NOT call it quirky. Pretty sure the Mallorca beside it…great spot, great little restaurant across the road - and it is super popular…we saw a line-up of 14 people one night…the walking strip is across the road almost…the very cool... As others have commented this is a quirky place but perfectly comfortable for a few nights. Access to the kitchen is really helpful and the staff were friendly. We were told that the a/c was $20 USD extra a night but we didn't bother as it wasn't too hot. San Ignacio is plagued to stray dogs so the extra grill... More

I arrived here with an Intrepid group, and we were fascinated by the decor of the place - it almost feels like you're staying in your grandmother's house! With the little knick knacks, old furniture and traditional dressing tables, it's very homey :-) But it's clean, has good size beds, a kitchen area where you can store and make your... More
