I the Mayan Jungle Ride and Tikkal Extension at MET through Equitours. I was promptly met at the airport by a very welcoming Arran Bevis. We picked up two other travelers in Belize City and enjoyed a great lunch together. We drove out to MET in the Cayo area of Belize. We arrived at MET where we were greated by... More

I booked a 6 day trip at MET through Equitours. Everything went very well; from my pick up from the airport to the rooms, meals, horseback riding every day, cave tours, and the very friendly staff. The owner Jim Beavis himself picked my friend and I up at the airport and Belize City hotel and he gave us a driving... More

My stay at MET was one of the best vacations I've ever experienced. From the moment the owner met me at the airport, I felt right at home and so very welcome. The setting is extraordinarily beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The staff is excellent, all very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. I loved my cabana with the... More

My wife and I stayed here while roaming the Cayo District and could not have been happier with our choice. We are already making plans for our return visit and MET is certainly... More

Loved this place. Great trailrides, we rode down to a river and waterfall one day. The resort setup lunch for us when we arrived and then went for a swim. Butterfly farm is very close by as well as underground caves with artifacts and human remains! Very nice cabanas and the owners are fantastic.

A friend of mine and I stayed at Mountain Equestrian Trails (MET) resort in March 2008 for one week. The owners and all of the employees were amazing. The jungle resort has everything one could ask for (except electricity in the cabanas). But the lack of electricity wasn't an issue, they provide kerosene lanterns and the main cantina where food... An eco-friendly resort run by an adoreable couple. Cabanas w/ a bathroom are nestled in the valley of the Cayo mountains & rainforest. Can't wait to go back.
