Judy, Patricia, Maysin, Fermin, Albert and the rest of the duPlooys family never cease to amaze! This is my 6th stay at duPlooys and each time they welcome our group with open arms and smiles. If we wish it, they make it happen. . . .and most importantly, with sincere hearts for connection with their guests. Each and every person... More

Our trip to Belize was amazing. DuPlooy’s was wonderful. We were a group of eleven raging in range from 2 years to 72 years. It was a challenge to find a destination that would make everyone happy. DuPlooy’s was perfect. The activities were great for all ages! They took such great care of us. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.... More

If I had to grade this trip, I wouid give it an A+++++. We visited Belize for 10 days - all of which spent at Duplooy`s Jungle Lodge. My husband, our 2 daughters (11 and 14 years old) and I chose this vacation for a change of pace. We LOVED it. We learned alot about the environment, sustainable tourism and... More

We stayed at DuPlooy's in July 2014. The rooms were spacious and clean. The room we were in had a shared bathroom with the room next door which was great as we were traveling together. The bathroom was gorgeous with a walk in stone shower with multiple shower heads. The beds were clean and comfortable. The food at the lodge... More

We spent three nights at DuPlooy's during our visit to Belize and it was lovely. We are avid birders and were happy to have a chance to go out with Phillip Mai one morning and explore the grounds. We even got to see a Keel Billed Toucan with him - our only sighting of Belize's national bird in Belize! Loved... More

We stayed at DuPlooy's as part of our Honeymoon in Belize. We could not have asked for a better time. It was perfect. From start to finish we were collected from the Airport and dropped off at our final destination. All the trips were arranged and there is so much to do, the tours were excellent. When we weren't busy... More

I just returned from a 2 week Mother/Daughter trip to Belize, of which 8 of those days were spent in the Jungle at Duplooy's. We chose this vacation because of the positive reviews, the remoteness of the jungle, and the offering of many outdoor activities that we wanted to participate in; such as the trips to the Mayan ruins, Cave... I just spent a week at duPlooy's with my family of 18, and we had such a great time here. Judy and the entire staff are warm and welcoming, the food is insanely delicious (thank you John!), and the actual lodge is beautiful, clean, and offers so many opportunities to explore nearby areas. We took walks through the botanical gardens,... More

I chose this location as the final three days of a ten day vacation in Belize. I chose it because of the botanical gardens, and my wife being an avid gardener. We were greeted at the dock upon landing from our seven day live aboard dive trip, and enjoyed a wonderful drive to duPlooy's with a very knowledgeable driver. Upon... More

Thanks for your review and of course, we're really glad that duPlooy's met your expectations. We particularly like it when you spend some extra time enjoying the property and gardens. You should come back between December and March when, in addition to our year-round residents, there are loads of migrating birds as well. Judy duPlooy More

We spent a week at duPlooys and it was terrific. Bottomline: you are in the rainforest, but you're not really roughing it, several Mayan ruins are nearby,as well as, caves for exploring/adventure and the Macal river for tubing, canoeing, cooling off. It's a birder's heaven with plenty of other wildlife around. We love bats and owls, and saw both. It... More

Wow!! Thanks for such a great review. Since we have the Goldilocks syndrome here - "the bed's too hard, the bed's too soft" - we are putting removable pillowtops on the beds and if someone wants a harder bed, off goes the pillowtop. I'm glad I could solve your problem with the massage and it was a good lesson with... More
