We enjoyed the gorgeous jungle surroundings. If you go to San Ignacio this is a great place to stay. The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent. The tours offered were well worth the time and the money. Very enjoyable experience!

We spent 5 nights of our honeymoon at Maya Mountain Lodge and by the 2nd night we were starting to wonder if we could get out of the remainder of our booking. Although the grounds were beautiful, we really didn't see any wildlife or have anything to do on days we didn't have excursions booked. The general location of Santa... More

We stayed three nights at this lodge near San Ignacio Belize. We had just arrived from a two night stay in an amazing lodge near Belmopan, Belize, called Sleeping Giant. That puts my stay at Maya Mountain in perspective. The lodges are individual thatch roof cottages and do look quite quaint. Inside, they are fairly spartan with one light bulb... More

The property of Maya Mountain Lodge is breathtaking. I could just sit on the veranda (where the double rooms are) for hours and look at trees, flowers, birds. A really friendly staff too. Meals on site are not unreasonably priced at all for the tourist crowd, and they have quite a chef. It's about a half hour walk down and... More

Staff was extremely accomodating and willing to bend over backwards to make our stay flexible and enjoyable, in spite of the airline's ability to arrive on time as promised. Between shifting meals, day trips, and massages, they were absolutely wonderful. Rooms are a bit small, but in retrospect, more than a guy needs for a few days in San Ignacio... More

Maya Mountain has lots of good things going for it. The staff is excellent. The grounds are beautiful! We booked all of our excursions through them and everything went smoothly. The guides were always great. The food at the restaurant was good and filling. Our hut smelled, especially after the bathroom was cleaned. No need to complain as the hut... More

This lodge tops my list for value, location and gave us the opportunity to delve into the exquisite environment of the Cayo District in a short period of time. Our spacious accommodation was #7,located in Parrot Perch, a multi unit lodge building with a deck overlooking the grounds which offered great opportunities to check out some of the local bird... We stayed at MML for just two nights and were impressed by the very good service and beautiful location. Our room was small, but we didn't spend much time in it, so that was okay. There is wifi on the patio, if you need it. The four-course dinners were delicious, but we were surprised to find that they do not... More

I can't say enough about the service and support i received from the staff at the maya mountain resort. They were always checking in to see if I needed anything, took special care in preparing my meals as i have dietary concerns and arranged my tours without issue. I could tell the other guest were very happy with the service... More

Like many other reviewers, we found MML to be unique due to the staff. They are all there to help you have a great trip. They will make arrangements for you for day trips or massage... Anything you need is their greatest pleasure to find for you. Food there was great -- buy the food plan as there are few... More
