With the deal we got on booking.com (like 50% off) we pushed out and got their premium room. And my, was it worth it. Beautiful wood panelled floors and good aircon. The infinity pool had a beautiful view over it. The restaurant was so ridiculously overpriced and average in quality. Just go into town, please. The reception Staff were really... More

Our group of 20 stayed at Windy Hill for four nights (in five separate cabins) and I was very impressed at how accommodating the staff was! We had an all inclusive package (meals included) and since our group was so big, we'd order the following meal at the end of the previous one (We'd order lunch at the end of... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. All rooms have A/C now, was able to upgrade to a deluxe room for a small fee. You will be stuck here if you do not have your own car, which would force you to do meals and activities at this location. We had a car so did not eat here or go on and... More

Staying here for 5 days with my sons was an adventure. Our first dinner was great, but after that we ran out of things to order we both liked. Breakfast was not so great - boring. The afternoons / eves sometimes they had the drink we wanted, sometimes not (meager fruit supply i guess). No wifi in rooms. Bedding and... More

A short distance outside town but offers a bit of peace after a hard days site seeing. Nice pool to cool off and very friendly staff. Belizean breakfast with.fried jacks is worth a go. Very good value. Definitely recommend it. The down side was the local taxis try to rip you off so get a firm price before you get... More

My husband and I and three teens stayed in a cabin in Windy Hill Resort. The cabin was clean, private and comfortable. The teens loved the pool and the hiking trails behind the resort. They also loved swinging on the hammock at night and searching for coconuts! Friendly staff.

We spent two nights here (wish it could have been more) in July 2015. The deal we got was excellent (£92 for two nights) so we weren't expecting a huge amount. To our surprise, we were given a large villa with two double beds and a terrace, complete with hammock and view of the pool. The grounds of the hotel... More

The staff here is great! (Thanks Natalia for all your help). They helped with tours (bargain for a great price), directions around San Ignacio, and are overall concerned about your stay/comfort. The cottages are spacious, quiet, and very private. The infinity pool is nice. The restaurant is ok but we ate in town more often (go to Western Dairies for... More

Once arrived in Belize quite the cultural shock we made it thru the poor beat up town of San Ignacio to the 1st resort to the west of the town. We had booked and found thru TripAdvisor a week before. Wow checked in early, welcome drink, bartender climes trees to fetch coconuts and machete for my sons. Room bungalow was... More

We stayed at Windy Hill Resort in July 2015. The hotel is just outside of the central area of town but still easily accessible by road. However, if you have reasonably sized luggage, we would strongly recommend taking a car. We took the bus from Belize City which stops nearby. But with a steep gradient and pebbly terrain leading to... More
