We decided to stay at Crystal Paradise after looking at all other options and decided that staying with a Belizean family had to be the way to go!!! We were greeted by our driver right away at the airport and had an enjoyable ride all the way to Crystal Paradise where supper waited for us. Our room was quaint and... More

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. Everyone was super friendly and helpful; the food was OUTSTANDING; Resort is in a beautiful, remote location. Eric Tut, one of the owning family and a license tour guide spent two days taking us everywhere and showing us everything. We found him to be very personable and knowledgable in all things... More

After researching properties in Belize for countless hours I decided to book at Crystal Paradise and couldn't be more happy with the decision. This quaint Belizian owned property is everything I hoped for. The grounds were gorgeous, food was good, rooms were large and clean and service was outstanding. The honor bar great to be able to grab a drink... More

The Tut family really was WONDERFUL. So hospitable, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Great base as they conduct all tours offered in the jungle region of Belize...so you can book everything easily through them! DON'T miss the cave tubing trip- absolutely fantastic! One of the greatest memories of my life. And horseback riding is extraordinary...let the horses and Andy guide you... More

What a perfect spot for a family to begin their adventure into Central America! The Tut family makes you feel right at home--more than willing to advise you on the best way to spend your time, be it exploring local archeological sites, daytripping down the Macal river, shopping in San Ignacio, or caving! We stayed in a thatch roof hut... More

My family of 4 stayed a week at Crystal Paradise in March 2008. The kids are 9 and 12. It was great - we loved the grounds, there were lots of things to do, the family was great (Jerone was especially helpful). The rooms were clean (we did have a little tree frog that lived in the shower but he... More
