Two friends and I stayed at Crystal Paradise in January 2014 for 3 nights. Jeronie and staff were wonderful. They took care of everything from shuttling us all around to preparing all our meals. We had a tour package from CP and they arranged everything. We didn't have any worries. Even when the weather precluded us from going to Xunantunich,... More

We were a group of 6 staying at Crystal Paradise for 5 days. Organization of all activities was first class and very flexible. Despite worse than average weather, we were able to do everything we wanted as discussed prior to making arrangements, including ATM Caves, overnight at Tikal, canoing on the Macal, all transfers, etc. Everything was as agreed. the... As birders, we booked a week-long package (the first time we ever did a package) through Jeronie that included jungle and ocean stays. It was unusually wet and our first night’s lodging (which was to be at Crooked Tree) was flooded, but Crystal Paradise worked everything out for us. In fact, CP took care of everything, from snorkeling to the... More

We stayed at the Crystal Paradise Resort from January 4th to January 11th, 2014, except for a 2-night stay at Martz Farm (see separate review). We had a wonderful time there: the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, the food was great, the cabanas were very comfortable and the tours were very well organized. Our thatched cabana (#5) had plenty... More

I spent almost a week at Crystal Paradise. This was truly one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. While birding was my main objective, relaxing was high on the list. Crystal Paradise (CP) did not disappoint on either count. Belize is experiencing higher than average rainfall so I was anxious about not seeing as many birds as I... More

Came here with my wife, my uncle and his wife, stayed in the thatch roof cabanas, had one each, though the rooms could have fit at least 12 people, with a gorgeous balcony, protected from bugs!! Showers were not hot as advertised, so don't expect it, although on the last day they were warm. Breakfast and dinner also are not... More

We were five adults and two children aged 1 and 3, and the Tut family instantly made us feel like we were family. Our children played with their children, Victor was like a stand-in grandfather with the kids, and Eric was awesome and took us everywhere we wanted to go. They made it very easy to tote our children on... More

We spent three nights here, mostly for the birding. We had a bird guide for a half-day and we saw many lifers, even just on the grounds of the resort. Our room was very nice - #2 - overlooking the slope down to the river (although you can't see the river). It was very peaceful as there was only one... More

We were 4 adults and the location, round trip airport ride, tours, lodging, food, etc. were all top notch. Eric was an excellent guide. We will return.Everyone in the Tut family showed us Belize hospitality. Although my wife & I had been to Belize on multiple trips , our traveling companions were having the experience for the first time and... More

Just a note to say thanks to Paradise Expeditions and Eric the Bird Guide for a great seven days of birding. Finding 205 species during the rainy season was a wonderful way for me to relax and enjoy my week off. Special well done to Eric for superb guiding. He was tireless at finding the tough-to-find species—including the Lovely Cotinga,... More
