The Tut Family has the art of Hospitality down. This was my second journey to Crystal Paradise with 4 of my best friends. We were treated as family and stay in contact throughout the year. This resort focuses on excursions of many kinds. Whether its bird watching, or cave tubing they will have something for you. Thanks again for another... More

My husband and I visited Crystal Paradise for 4 days in February. It's in the middle of the jungle - really beautiful and relaxing - about a 15 minute drive from San Ignacio. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we could hear all the sounds of the jungle at night (including howler monkeys!). In the morning, all sorts of... More

Hubby and I stayed there for 3 nights while exploring San Ignacio. We stayed in Thatched roof cabin #7 as recommended by previous review but didn't find the area much more private than the other cabins as they are like 2 yards apart from each other. Cabin#7 can house family of 5. Room was clean and basic. Took a few... More

We loved our stay with the Tut Family. Unlike most visitors we stayed in a house that was previously home to one of the Tut family members. The home was just a 5 minute walk from the front desk, but it felt like we were in our our jungle paradise. The home was covered in beautiful hardwood and hardwood furnishings.... More

Great trip; terrific people! If you like birding this is the place to be. The staff were very helpful and informative. They went out of their way to provide us with a wonderful Christmas dinner. The only problem we had was with the beds --they were very firm.

Crystal Paradise resort is a beautiful, sleepy, quiet resort run by a sweet family. It was a very relaxing resort while we were on our honeymoon in Belize. The resort is comprised of spacious, individual cabins/palapas with private, screened-in porches and a central pavilion for dining, bird watching and socializing. Crystal Paradise is set very nearby a quaint village and... More

Our trip to Crystal Paradise was our first to the interior of Belize. Previous trips to the country had been to Ambergris Caye to fly fish. This time we added a birding destination, and we are pleased to have found Crystal Paradise. We stayed four nights. By day, we traveled out with our birding guide, Eric Tut. I cannot say... More

While they don't call this an Eco Lodge, that is the experience you will get. Beautiful grounds a short walk to the river and the staff was extremely helpful in arranging tours for us. A very relaxing setting (thatched cottage) with meals (MORE than adequate) included. I'm not a birder but still enjoyed the mornings on the deck watching a... More

The resort is very big or better said a very big farm with cabanas. We regret staying there because we were always out and about and needed a comfortable and quiet place just for resting at night. This resort was neither comfortable nor quiet. Beds were uncomfortable and cabanas full of bugs and mosquito. And we could hear our next... More

This was like staying with a family because we became acquainted with the cook, Carolita, her cousin Andy our guide, and the owner, Victor Tut. The locale is a bird magnet and when they put fruit out, it's easy birding. The home cooking was authentic and exciting--the ricardo chicken, the fried snapper served in a coconut chicken broth, and fryjacks... More
