I would stay here again. that out of the way, this town is primitive, so expectations should not be high. the manager on site was very helpful, [you get use of a local cell phone, too, which is nice] and i am sure tries his best, but the area does not generate the income necessary to make things perfect. Room was... More

Thanks for your review. I'm glad that you were satisfied with the our staff and location. We are also sorry to hear that your wife was dissatisfied with her stay. As a small budget hotel, we agree that we are not for everyone. We are a budget friendly inn for those who want a comfortable, clean place to sleep while... More

We were part of a party of 8 who decided that this year we wanted to tour the inland part of Belize specifically the Mayan ruins. We found the Rain Forest Haven and loved it! Rooms are reasonably priced and for us the bonus was the common kitchen on the third floor as we like to have breakfast together, some... More

This is great value in San Ignacio. A huge, clean room with everything you need (including a local cell phone). The building is an old mansion that has been divided up into rooms, so the whole place has an interesting character to it. Just a few blocks from the "downtown" with lots of restaurants and shops. Stay here in San... More

This hotel is in the heart of San Ignacio. Everything is close and it's walking distance (20 min) to the closest Maya temple. It's a small hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wifi works excellent. On the top there is a terrace with lovely view. They also have a fully equipped kitchen that we used every morning and evening to... More

Shamera runs a tight ship. She competently arranges the tours of your choice, gives great restaurant recs, and really know the area. And if all that isn't enough, she even provides you a cell phone that you can use to call her should anything come up. The rooms are cute, and the bathrooms are surprisingly new and well-done. The wifi... More

Shamera rocks! Hands down, the most helpful and kind owner/operator we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. She even took us grocery shopping and on a mini-tour of San Ignacio, which included a stop at her mom's house. We had planned a 10-day visit but illness (unrelated to food consumption) forced us to extend our stay to three... More

My husband, adult daughter and myself stayed here for 2 nights recently. The positives: The location is excellent. It's only a couple of blocks from the main part of town. So you are close without having the noise of traffic, clubs and people. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was very large. The AC worked well. There... More

We stayed here for one night and the people who own this place were great. It's two buildings; the main one is an older mansion that's been separated into several units. They have a rooftop patio that has a pretty amazing view of all of San Ignacio. The second building is the owner's home which has a two bedroom unit... More
