This hotel is in the heart of San Ignacio. Everything is close and it's walking distance (20 min) to the closest Maya temple. It's a small hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wifi works excellent. On the top there is a terrace with lovely view. They also have a fully equipped kitchen that we used every morning and evening to... More

Shamera runs a tight ship. She competently arranges the tours of your choice, gives great restaurant recs, and really know the area. And if all that isn't enough, she even provides you a cell phone that you can use to call her should anything come up. The rooms are cute, and the bathrooms are surprisingly new and well-done. The wifi... More

Shamera rocks! Hands down, the most helpful and kind owner/operator we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. She even took us grocery shopping and on a mini-tour of San Ignacio, which included a stop at her mom's house. We had planned a 10-day visit but illness (unrelated to food consumption) forced us to extend our stay to three... More

My husband, adult daughter and myself stayed here for 2 nights recently. The positives: The location is excellent. It's only a couple of blocks from the main part of town. So you are close without having the noise of traffic, clubs and people. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was very large. The AC worked well. There... More

Stayed at rainforest haven inn for 2 night and we had a wonderful stay! Very helpful staff and very clean. Visited the chocolate shop next door which was awesome! Also did the atm cave tour which was very cool. We have had a great time in San Ignacio!

We stayed here for one night and the people who own this place were great. It's two buildings; the main one is an older mansion that's been separated into several units. They have a rooftop patio that has a pretty amazing view of all of San Ignacio. The second building is the owner's home which has a two bedroom unit... More

A little over midway through a two-week backpacking trek around Mexico, Guatemala and Belize, we were pretty worn out and heavily contemplating scratching San Ignacio all together and extending our stay in Tulum. They say things happen for a reason, that poorly hatched plan didn't work out and we (as originally planned) spent two days in San Ignacio. As the... More

We were in this region to visit Mayan ruins and needed a place sleep. Good enough reviews on TripAdvisor for me to commit to 2 nights. Next time, i will stay else where. Staff was friendly, yet hard to find. Room was fine, air-conditioning worked great (critical). Bathroom was fine except that the electricity to power the instant heat was... More

Shamera had a driver waiting for us at BZE. She arranged our ATM cave tour, and offered her personal mobile number for any other issues that might come up. Clean, spacious and air-conditioned rooms. Short walk to town, and a great roof top terrace. Would definitely stay here again.
