The best adventure vacation ever. We did the cave waterfall hike, went horsebackriding, and hiked/repelled the 'black hole" (a 300 foot sinkhole in the jungle). Met wonderful people, had an amazing room, and have not stopped talking about the place and recommending it to others. We are in our 60s, and there are folks of all ages there. Ian has... More

My husband and I have traveled quite extensively. We always try new places, countries and adventures as we don't believe in going back to the same place. There are just too many places in the world to visit! However, with Caves Branch, we will be making an exception. Caves Branch is truly a different experience. From the time you enter,... More

My husband and I stayed at the resort a week ago while we were celebrating our third year anniversary. The experience was unlike no other! This was a great way to experience the jungle with wonderful tour guides. The guides were very well-organized and extremely knowledgeable. There was also plenty of time to complete an adventure and return to relax... More

We had a ball! What a great place to go to get away! Great Accomodations. Lots of adventurous things to do. Staff very friendly. Special thanks to Dillon, Jason, Albert, Eugene, and Charyl! The food was excellent.

Our family went there last June 2012. The tree houses are truly amazing. You are sleeping in a partial screened detached house, right in the jungle. The food was OK. There should have been more kid friendly food (how hard is it to provide hot dogs?). They really only want you to have breakfast and dinner in the lodge -... More

We just returned from a 4 night stay and loved it. Our children are outgrowing the Disney stage and it was very refreshing to go on adventures that do not end up in the gift shop. Some of the adventures are a bit challenging but the kids loved it. The dinners got a little Buggy which we somehow started getting... More

We just returned from a seven (7) night all inclusive Adventure package at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Jungle Lodge. The facilities are amazing, the adventures unique and the staff awesome - we had a blast! We stayed in a secluded Canopy view Treehouse perched high above offering a spectacular view. Full screened windows are open to all the sights and... More

I stayed at Caves Branch for 3 nights and from the minute I arrived I immediately felt like part of their extended family. Being a solo traveller it can often be daunting to come down by yourself at meal times but at Caves Branch they encourage everyone to sit together and socialise. I never once felt alone and even at... More

I recently enjoyed three of the adventures at Caves Branch while I was staying at its sister hotel Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge. The adventures were excellent. The Black Hole Drop included a fulfilling hike through the rainforest punctuated by a 300 ft repel into a sinkhole connected to the cave system. I've never repelled before, so it was scary and... The hardest part about going to Caves Branch is leaving. It was an amazing trip where we felt so welcome and the staff quickly became friends. We traveled with our two daughters, 8 and 11 at the time and another family whose children were 6 and 8. We had the opportunity to stay in a two bedroom treehouse - AMAZING... More
