We booked a room at Jaguar Paw for 5 nights. We only stayed one. The water line broke so you were unable to shower..flush toilet...brush teeth...etc. The food was ok but very pricey. My husband drank a $26.00 USD beverage. The activities are fun but there is nothing free to do. We spent $500.00 in 1 day and that didnt... more

My husband and I stayed at JP for 3 nights to start off our Belizean vacation. The property is beautiful, right in the jungle with plenty of activities through the hotel or on your own. We hiked by ourselves and found the Crystal cave opening, which was amazing. Another time, we set off to hike on our own, only to... more

What an amazingly wonderful surprise our stay was at Jaguar Paw. I highly recommend this destination to anyone who treasures new experiences and good times. My husband and I and our three sons (ages 12, 21 and 23) had just come from a fun stay in Lamanai....where we had been delighted to spot howler monkeys and kinkajou from afar....only to... more

Jaguar Paw is located directly in the jungle, 7 miles off the Western highway. It is amazing. We were there for our honeymoon and it was a great experience. This is a great place to stay if you plan on doing some excursions out to some of the ruins and caves, which are amazing. The most amazing cave is actually... more

The room was nice, although we paid for a double, which turned out to be a double bed, not accomadations for two people. However, the staff did provide a roll out bed. The service was slow to non existent, and trying to find someone at the front desk was frustrating at best. There is nocomputer access, and the only phone... more

My boyfriend and I were told about Jaguar Paw while we were staying on Ambergris...we spent a few days in San Ignacio and decided to give the Jaguar Paw a try on our last day on the way back to Belize City. We were really pleased! The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant has excellent food (definitely try the... more

The rooms are really nice at Jaguar Paw. All of the staff were really helpful and super friendly. We went at the end of the high season, which was after spring break and we practically had the place to ourselves which was really nice. Jaguar Paw is located at the mouth of the Crystal cave, an absolutely great tour to... more

What a strange place this turned out to be. We knew we were heading for a jungle lodge but were not prepared for quite a few of its oddities. Maybe they appeal to the American market but they surely seemed strange to us (a European family). We were greeted by two rather burly guards with large dogs who were sitting... more

Jaguar Paw is a lovely resort in the rainforest. The staff is some of the most dedicated friendly folks I have ever met. The guides are ready to take you on adventures at a moments notice. Food is excellent - didn't have a single bad meal in the two days I stayed. Only complaint is they don't know how to... more

Jaguar Paw is located in an amazing place. The rainforest is very beautiful. The hotel had very friendly staff and great, great food. The room was clean, but a little inappropriate for the location; i.e. there were several stuffed animals and fluffy things in our room that all were mildewed. We had a wonderful time at Jaguar Paw, but heed... more
