Caves Branch is a great place if you are looking for somewhere in Belize where you can actually find an all-inclusive option, and the adventures they offer are wonderful. It is not, however, a place to stay if you are backpacking. Everywhere else in Belize you pay about $3-5 US for a large meal - here you pay $17 US,... more

My boyfriend and I spent our first night in Belize at the Caves Branch Lodge. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and gave us each a complimentary drink (rum punch, which we drank plenty of while in Belize). Because it was the slow season, they upgraded us to an absolutely beautiful treehouse suite. We had dinner there that... more

We went from Ian Anderson's Caves Branch to Francis Ford Coppola's Turtle Inn, arguably the "best" property in Belize. Our kids' (11 and 7) reaction to Turtle Inn: "it's nice, but it isn't Caves Branch". That, in my opinion, says it all. The combination of wonderful adventures, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the pleasant company of fellow guests made our... more

We went to Costa Rica two years ago, staying in a very similar lodge and thought we would never top that experience. We were wrong! We are a family of four with two girls ages 13 and 15 and they were estatic about the trip. We stayed in a treehouse which is essentially four star jungle accomodations that made you... more

We went for our honeymoon. Everyday was a great new experience. It was not as physically challenging as I'd anticipated. Guides were phenomenal. They are in the midst of renovating the rooms--the older are not so wonderful, but the new ones are quite nice. There's also hearsay about adding a pool, which would be great for afternoons when returning from... more

We just returned from a four night stay at Caves Branch. I can't begin to express in words how wonderful the experience was. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our room. Because we booked late, we spent two nights in a treehouse and two nights in a bungalow. All of the accommodations are gorgeous. There were lots of... more

We stayed here 2 nites in November 2007. (Also stayed 1 week at Inn at Robert's Grove and 1 week at Belizean Shores -- see those reviews.) We stayed in the Jungle Treehouse Suite (their most luxurious option) as the mid-priced ones were closed for rennovations and we still wanted a room with private bathrooom. The suite was AMAZING, large... more

Just have to express what a fantastic place this is! My boyfriend had the best time meeting new people, partaking in the jungle adventures during the four days we stayed there and loved the guides! We loved the guides so much we went to Belmopan with them to watch their soccer championship game with the locals. I highly recommend this... more

My two middleaged friends and I took the four nights package and had the most wonderful time at CB. The attentions we received did not go unnoticed... from Ella, Ian's wife, as she gave us a guided tour of the developing botanical garden, to Mr. Chan, and his tour of the spectacular orchid greenhouse, to the knowledgable and concerned guides... more

Summary: Stayed in this well run resort for 4 nights. The overall experience was wonderful and we will be back with family, relative and friends. In my opinion, a jungle experience in Belize is a must, and Caves Branch would be a top choice for all ages seeking an assortment of jungle adventures ranging from easy difficult. Check-In: You are... more
