We went to caves branch last July (before the pool) and had the treehouse suite. It was the most expensive part of our trip but the treehouse suite is so worth it. You can't even compare the standard bungalows with the treehouse suites. We walked to the bungalows which were set back from the river and were swarmed by mosquitos.... more

My husband stayed at Cave's Branch 15 years ago when it was a rustic, charming, little hidden gem. On this trip to Belize, we stayed elsewhere but decided to go to Cave's Branch for the Black Hole Drop tour (the tour was fantastic). Suffice it to say that a lot has changed at Cave's Branch. It's grown (of course) due... more

My husband and I stayed at Caves Branch Lodge over Easter as part of a longer Belize itinerary. I must say that if you are visiting Belize you really must include an inland adventure or you are missing out. There are many different accommodation options here with something for every budget. But as I advise my clients, you really need... more

My best friend, Jenn, and I booked the 7 night package with 5 excursions included! We found all the guides and staff to be so well trained, very knowledgable, quite friendly and most are pretty funny! Also, all the guides were very generious with their time and if there was something a little extra we wanted to see or do... more

My wife and I took our first trip away from our kids (all 5 of them) to Belize in March. We had been planning to go for our tenth anniversary in August 2007, but then my wife got pregnant and the trip to Belize was no longer feasible. My wife surprised me for my 40th birthday with a trip to... more

First, my qualification: I have been rock climbing and backpacking for over 20 years, and have taught over 100 friends to climb and rappel, without injury or incident, because I practice Outdoor Safety like Kaizen -“continuous quality improvement”. So – when I say that I was favorably impressed with how IACB guides set up a 280 foot rappel and gave... more

My wife and I took our two granddaughters, ages 10 and 13 to Belize during spring break the fourth week in March 2009. Knowing virtually nothing about Belize except for the glowing reviews of many who have been there during the past few years, we committed to 7 days in advance. We wanted some independence so we rented a car... more

i will preface that i went to caves branch for 2 nights 3 days in mid january. i was amongst two couples, who after going to thatch caye for 5 nights, went here before heading back home. the trips are what make this hotel unique and one-of-its-kind. (everyone will tell you that.) we took one trip: the overnight black hole... more

What a great place! This would have been perfect if it hadn't been for all the construction that was going on while we were there. They were working on the future swimming pool, hot tub and visitors center from early morning (6:30) until late afternoon (4:30). Since our trips, and most of the others returned anywhere between 12:30 and 2:30,... more

Great Jungle resort - couldn't say enough good things about the quality of the room (stayed in the Jungle tree house), food, service. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and you can't go wrong here. We did cave tubing, horseback riding and river kayaking. The trips are fine - but a bit pricy for what you get. If you have... more
