I stayed in a regular (as opposed to economy) room at the Bullfrog in in early July. I met a friend in Belmopan, and I am not keen in staying in people's houses so I stayed at the Bullfrog Inn. The Bullfrog will always be a vivid memory for me. Belize is a small country and Belmopan is the world's smallest national capital (by popluation). So, it makes sense that there isn't much of a market for 5 star hotels. The best I can say it that it was adequate. It is an old motel that desperately needs updating. The... more

The hotel is very old and desperately in need of renovation but it's really your only option in Belmopan. The restaurant is descent and the people are friendly. I wouldn't recommend for anything other than a business trip (which is probably the only reason you go to Belmopan.) more

Stayed at the Bull Frog Inn during my business trip to Belmopan. Very cozy little place. Rooms were clean and very well lit. Riight next to the lobby is the bar and the restaurant.
