We stayed here for 3 nights and cannot fault the lodge, the wonderful staff or the food! 2 girls travelling together, we shared a cabana that had 1 single and 1 double bed. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The dinner was served as a buffet and guests and staff eat together. The food was AMAZING! Always rice, meat... More

I've stayed at Pook's Hill several times when visiting Belize. The service is very good. Nothing luxurious, but good solid Belizian food, a nice open thatched bar for pre-dinner drinks. The cabanas are very nice and comfortable with the basic amenities. But the greatest thing is that it is in the middle of the jungle (but still only 1,5 hour... More

Best proof of satisfied customer......they come back. After a 4 year respite, we returned to Belize and Pooks Hill was our jungle base for waterfall rappelling, came tubing and of course, the legendary ATM Cave. First, a shout out to head chefs Norma and maria for spearheading our family's unique dietary issues with both perfect execution and an equally perfect... More

Staid here for 2 nights, the cabana's are beautiful, the people exceptionally friendly. In the middle of the jungle, half an hour drive from the nearest village. The eco lodge owns 300? Acres of land. Includes all meals that you eat at the same time with everyone else thats staying. Nice central seating area to read a book, a drink... More

We chose Pook's Hill due to its location in the jungle and close access to the ATM Cave. It was perfect for us. Thankfully we had a driver in a proper vehicle to get us up the rough road to the lodge. We were greeted by Kate, who was lovely. Our bags were taken to our cabana and Kate took... More

Our stay at Pooks Hill was superb! The setting is carved out of the middle of the jungle and is gorgeous. Birds, monkeys, and butterflies abound and could be seen without even leaving the bar for those that do not like to stray far from comfort. Food was great, staff welcoming and helpful and the ability to grab a tube... More

One this for sure: Pook's Hill Lodge is not for everyone: It's isolated, difficult to get to, and not luxurious. But if you are a bit adventurous, and are looking for a truly unique jungle lodge experience, then Pook's Hill Lodge is pretty terrific. To get to PHL, you can either fly into Belmopan and have them pick you up,... More

We really appreciated the evening group meals. Pook's Hill has a comfortable home-away-from-home feel that we appreciated even more when we went other places that were not as friendly. Accommodations are not luxurious, but they are definitely ample. We were more than pleased with our experience.

Pooks Hill is definitely unique! I picked this lodge because of its proximity to the ATM caves. Our cave tour was AMAZING as we were the first to have access to the caves in the morning, being so close. We had the cave to ourselves for a solid 1.5 hours before we even saw another group. I didn't get to... More

What a great place, Vicky is an outstanding host, our bird guide Mike couldn't have been better, he drove us all over Belize, and boy did he know his birds! Three meals were prepared for you each day (if you were there) all very good. The rooms were clean and the hot water was hot. Last, but not least, Kate's... More
