I can only echo all the other positive comments. The lodge, grounds, pool and food are all FANTASTIC. We only stayed two nights and wished we had stayed more as we did stay in another lodge (Maya Mountain) which could not hold a candle to Sleeping Giant. Pay the extra money and stay here. You will be glad you did.... More

My husband Tyler and I stayed at Sleeping Giant for 5 nights this past January in a Garden View room. We rented a car from Crystal Auto Rental by the airport because we wanted to be able to stop whenever we wanted! On the way to the lodge we spent an afternoon at the Belize zoo and ate lunch there.... More

My husband and I had an amazing time at Sleeping Giant. The casita was wonderful the grounds were beautiful and the staff was so welcoming and knowledgable of the area as well as the tours that were offered. We loved everything about our stay! Definitely will be returning in the future!!

We enjoyed very much our 3 day stay here. Our casita (#3) was comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Gareth and Swift. The whole site is well designed and maintained, with a lovely pool area. If I have a slight criticism, it concerns the quality of the food. With so few restaurants in the local... More

After getting up at 3am, taking two flights and driving for nearly two hours (because we missed a turn), the Sleeping Giant was a very welcome site for my family and I. It was dark when we arrived and the ambiance was stunning. We were promptly greeted by Eugene and soon the bartender whipped up our welcoming tropical libations. Next... More

We enjoyed three glorious days at Sleeping Giant. The staff was excellent, providing everything we needed or asked for and was very accommodating in arranging excursions and exploring experiences. The food was excellent, the pool was great, and the bikes and kayaks were readily available. Highly recommend if you want a secluded and luxurious stay in the rainforest.

Having stayed in other rain forest resorts in Central America, I was not left wanting by our stay at the Sleeping Giant. The grounds are incredibly well kept, the pool superbly designed. We stayed in Casita 4 which provided a lovely sense of privacy and seclusion all the while being in close proximity to the pool and easy walking distance... More

Whether you're an avid adventurer or looking for a quiet getaway, Sleeping Giant takes the cake. Being a little out of the way from typical tourist destinations makes for a truly authentic jungle experience. There is a pristine river that runs through the property and a newly built crows nest/lookout tower that is worth the guided hike. Early morning coffee... More

Exceeded our expectations. Warm friendly staff, good food, and the nicest room we have ever had. The casitas are incredible. A few rooms in the lodge are like regular hotel rooms, but our casita was beautiful, and the service of all the staff and the GM, Eugene, was incomparable. Adventure package included a great cave tubing experience, cool visit to... More

I had an amazing time while at the Sleeping Giant. The staff made us feel welcome and apart of the family. The food was A+. And the Sleeping Giants grouds are kept up very well. There were plenty of outdoor activities to choose from around the area.
