Everything about the Sleeping Giant was great. The staff was very friendly, and super helpful. The property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were incredible, and had all of the amenities you needed. My husband and I visited with our 10-year old son and 14-year old niece. It was a great Jungle family vacation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone... More

Honestly, we didn't know what to expect, since we had decided to stay in the heart of the Belizian jungle and experience a Mayan adventure, but from the moment we got there, we were amazed by the high level and quality of service and accommodations. From the first welcoming fruit juice to the last goodbye, every staff member always greeted... More

Beautiful property, warm and friendly staff, some of the nicest accommodations I have seen -- comfort, privacy, bliss! Would be a wonderful second honeymoon location or perfect for a true getaway. The food was also very, very good -- especially the seafood.

You are welcomed like family. We were happy to know all the staff and spend time chatting with them. Everyone there was welcoming helpful and willing to go not just the extra mile but several extra miles. When we arrived I discover that my son had forgotten his toothbrush. Many hotels stock a few basic personal care items for guests... More

Upon arrival, we were greeted by 4 staff members welcoming us. Everyone called us by our names from that point on. Grounds are beautiful and lush, well maintained yet natural. We stayed in Casita 4 which was close to the pool and the main lodge yet hidden by foliage. Rooms were very well appointed with fresh flowers daily. The food... More

My husband and I recently stayed for 3 nights and were so sad to leave. In fact, our experience at Sleeping Giant kind of ruined the next hotel for us (even though it was very nice)! The gorgeous and comfortable casita, level of personal service, beautiful grounds, and peaceful setting made it impossible to compete with. The staff was fun... More

Have stayed for 3 nights and it was memorable , enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was good and delicious . What made the stay more fun was the staff and location is so beautiful. I would definitely go back.

We have been to Belize many times, but this was our first adventure into the interior of the country. It was absolutely amazing!! The grounds are beautiful, buildings well maintained as well as the pool, kayaks, etc. Casita #10 was our home for our stay and it was perfect. Casitas are very large (King bed, bunk bed, couch and PLENTY... More

This is my first ever review on Trip Advisor, staying at Sleeping Giant was such a great experience that I wanted to tell others about it. Me and my wife only stayed at Sleeping Giant for 3 days, but wished it was longer. The lodge is of a decent standard, it has decent rooms, the food is very good (although... More

Sleeping giant lodge was one of the nicest places I have stayed anywhere. Even my kids were amazed by the beauty of the place. The casita rooms are huge and so nice. Huge shower, outdoor tub, large sitting area and covered balcony with table and hammock. The grounds are lush and it was an adventure walking through them to the... More
