We only did the zip lining here, but were pleased with the experience. The tour guides were very informative, helpful, and made us feel safe. It was my first time zip lining so I had some questions which they answered patiently. The zip lining itself was not as scary or intense as I had expected. There were a few faster,... More

Calico Jack's is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to the Xunantunich Ruins and they have Zip lining and Caving right on site. Also tours for bird watching and nature trails. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They really want you to enjoy your stay. I am in a wheelchair and they went to extra effort to... More

Calico Jack's Village is a really unexpected gem. If you want a Belize jungle experience with style and adventure, this is a great place to go! Traveling down 7 mile long stretch of rocky road, i didnt know what to expect. But then there was this really beautiful place. very new and bright and clean, kind of a Neo-Maya motif.... More

I promised Carlos ( our very friendly guide around the ziplines) that I would write a review so here it is. Calico jacks is not too far from San Ignacio up a bumpy dirt track. We had a transfer arranged by our hotel, who took us directly there. Calico jacks are very safety conscious and explain everything veery carefully. We... More

We stayed at Calico Jack in January. It was a marvelous experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the villa in which we were accommodated was beautiful. We tried out the zip lining and found out that it lived up to its reputation. It was superb and included rappelling and other excitements. We also went on the medicine trail and... More

Escaped the NY freeze to spend a week in Cayo. I found a jungle retreat perched on a small mountain ridge, mild weather and starry skies on clear nights. Two of us shared the well-appointed sun Temple at Calico Jack's. Two bedreooms, two baths, a modern kitchen, purified water, all modern and immaculate. TV with Canadian cable and super-quite a/c... Our study abroad group came down to the Cayo district, and could not pass up a day of zip lining. Calico Jack's offered an EXCELLENT day for the group! The Ultimo package was definitely the best value, and the best choice of lines. The entire group also then wanted to ride the Jungle Swing. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and... More

What a fantastic place to be based right in the middle of jungle! My 4 year old son absolutely loved the journey to and from there from the main road which is quite bumpy! We spent three nights there and from there we were well positioned for child friendly excursions such as Xunantunich (my son running up and down using... More

While in San Ignacio, my wife and I contacted the people at Calico Jacks to do some zip lining on very short notice. They were kind enough to arrange a transport to and from their location in their well equipped land rover and they picked us up at our hotel. The really good thing about their business is that they... More

We had an AWESOME time at Calico Jacks. I recommend the Jungle Swing if you are feeling brave and have an empty bladder - save the beer for bar after you swing back! The ziplining and rapelling options are great because there is a range of options. There's also a cool suspension bridge through jungle on the way to the... More
