We spent one night at Savanna Guest House, a lush oasis surrounded by beautiful pine savannas. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully-furnished. My girlfriend felt like she was in a movie. We were surprised at how affordable the place was given the quality of the room. We wish we would have had more time to talk with... More

We were a group of 3 couples from Ontario , Canada, and stayed at the foster's guesthouse previous to flying home. What a delight and lovely experience this was. The guesthouse is situated in the trees, and birds could be heard all around us. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming, with screened in porches all around, where you could lie... More

We stayed here for one night! It was lovely! The room was extremely clean and nicely furnished! We stayed with our two boys and enjoyed ourselves. Richard showed us the film sets and fed the crocodile. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. The downstairs room we had access to, was perfect for playing games with the kids! Wonderful experience... More

We stayed for one night before heading south to Placencia. The Fosters are gracious hosts with fascinating backgrounds. The room was pleasant, not luxurious but very comfortable. No AC, but it was breezy. Our room had a screened in porch that could accommodate sleeping. We sat and listened to the sounds of the evening. In the morning Richard provided a... More

We spent 2 nights at the Foster's guesthouse in order to have time to visit the zoo. The guesthouse is away from the road and surrounded by savanna , which means it is quiet and peaceful. The room was nice and the breakfast in the morning lovely. There is a big kitchen for use , lots of places to sit... More

We spent our last night in the country at the Foster's, though Carol was out of the country at the time. It was a perfect retreat, full of fascinating stories, a wonderful breakfast and a calm environment. We also did the night tour at the zoo, which was fascinating. And Richard took us to the zoo and back, since we... More

Richard was lovely. This is a special place that we are so happy to have been able to experience. Richard booked our zoo tour for us, drove us to dinner(he also joined us and we heard great stories of his fascinating life), drove us to the zoo and then took us to the airport the next day all for much... The Fosters (the owners) are the NICEST and most welcoming people you will ever meet! We felt so welcome and really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is so nice and you feel like you are really sleeping in the jungle! The night tour at the zoo is a must, don't decide to just do the day visit, do them both!... More

Agree with several other reviewers that the Foster's guest house was their favorite part of their trip to Belize. We loved every minute of staying there - visiting their sets and animals - talking to them..Because they were waiting for an animal to arrive to begin their next film project, they had some extra time to show us and the... The Fosters were our favorite hosts of all 6 of the places we stayed in Belize on our vacation. They were really welcoming, really took a lot of time with us, made us feel comfortable right away. Richard showed us around their place and toured the sets and gave us some great advice on where to go to see the... More
