The place seems amazing. Just want to warn prospective visitors that they offer packages on certain fixed dates (weekly)- you can't get a transfer to the island on other dates. Must be careful to arrange flights accordingly- especially those who don't have extra time. More

My week on Long Caye was like heaven on earth. White sands, palm trees, turquoise clear water and beautiful coral reefs. What more can you ask for? My little bungalow overlooked the ocean where I watched spectacular sunrises right from the hammock on my deck. The weather was perfect with sunny days and warm breezy nights. The food was great,... Long Caye Resort was the highlight of our month trip to Central America. Everything was outstanding. As a naturalist and environmental educator, I particularly appreciated the quality of the barrier reef, clear warm water and diversity of marine species. Swimming along the wall was a highlight seeing rays, turtles and schools brilliant fish. We spent two glorious weeks filled with... More

I've been to a lot of tropical resorts -- Oahu, Maui, Tahitti, Bora Bora, Jamaica, The Bahamas -- and nothing compares to the experience I had on Long Caye Resort. I loved everything about it: the fact that it is a small private island far from civilization; the beautiful, rustic, solar and wind-powered facilities; the seemingly endless number of water... More

My husband and I are active kayakers. When I finished my doctorate he wanted to celebrate by taking me to Belize. My idea of a vacation was warm, sunny, kayaking, snorkeling, some one else cooking and a bed without sand at night. We signed up for 9 days at Slickrocks Long Caye. I was delighted that all my criteria were... More

Our family trip was to Belize this year and we spent a week on Slickrock's Adventure island. We ALL loved it. Our kids are 15 and 19, girl and boy and they both want to go back. It even met my son's criteria for an all inclusive! He's not into the outdoor activities as much as the rest of us... More

All the other reviews give the details, so I will not. I will say this was the best trip of our lives. It was magical. Our children (18 and 13) loved it too. Many in our group had younger kids and they had fun as well. Highly recommend it. More

Family of 4, 2 kids under 13. Simply put, we had the trip of our lives. We did the Island Adventure trip (7 nights on the island). Slickrock Adventures has created the perfect vacation at Glover's Reef on Long Caye. The attention to detail by Slickrock to create the best ever island vacation has paid off. If you like to... More

Five days of warm breezes & clear water at a small island. Lots of activities - - - I focused on snorkeling & diving the reef (over the top), kayaking, birding, and fly-fishing for bones. Families & solos blended well. Very knowledgeable, friendly, & flexible island staff. Another plus to the Belize trip... several days exploring the Lamanai and LaMilpa... More
