We stayed here as part of a tour and I assume that the only advantage of this place is that it is cheap. Basic doesn't even really begin to describe it. Soap is not provided - make sure to bring your own - and whether you'll have hot water is a bit of a lottery. The rooms are not particularly... More

Caye Caulker is the most wonderfully peaceful place to stay, and Tom's Hotel is an ideal lodging to call it a night. My girlfriend and I spent a night in one of the rooms, which gets points for being so cheap, but we really loved the cabanas. A short walk from the ferry and right by the water.

We stayed here on a organised tour. One of the worst places I've ever stayed in. No SOAP at all, not even on the basin for hand washing. The street light and the hallway light stays on all night and both my windows were right near both lights, super bright, like daylight in the room. A drain ran outside my... More

A friend and I stayed at toms for 5 nights- double bed, shared bathroom, paid 22$usd total per night. There's a beautiful view and the location is on the chiller side of the island. Our beds were clean and pretty comfy, and the ceiling fan kept us cool. It's definitely not luxurious, but I've stayed in some sketchy places and... More

If you're looking for a cheap and clean place to stay in Caye caulker Tom's is the right place for you. It's a basic hotel, but the rooms are quite big and really clean, with clean sheet and towels. Bathrooms are shared but clean and with hot water. anyway, caye caulkler is so amazing that you wouldn't spend too much... More

I stayed here during my stay in Caye caulker. I was in hut 1 right near the beach and it was very cute. A basic hut with 2 beds and a bathroom - No Ac just a fan. It was close enough to walk to places to eat and drink etc but not very central. There was no wifi in... More

Please dont stay here, its far from enjoyable, with street lights blazing through windows at night, to no hot water , no soap even, slaming doors, its not a good location, no air con n its blistering hot. Just awful. Feels like a boarding school set up.

When you think of a basic hotel that's it. There's not even the soap let alone a glass for toothbrushes. The rooms are small and very hot ( no AC) and I seriously thought of sleeping outside. Moreover the windows face a small street with very strong lights and there is no way to screen the windows; it seems to... More

There wasn't even soap in the bathroom, talk about basic. No screen on bathroom window so it was a hotbox in there. Street light right outside the window made leaving the curtains open at night impossible. I never saw anyone from the hotel after we checked in. Yes, the location is excellent but.that's about all it has going for it... More

Tom's Hotel great for the budget traveller of the adventurous kind. Situated 5 minutes walk from the main town along the sandy roads (no sealed roads in Caye Caulker just sand), and a stones throw away from the waters edge, but no sandy shore front, and quite alot of sea weed in the water in this side of the island....
