Nice location on the beach. The problem is the concrete structure is HOT. Almost impossible to get any sleep (sweating). The ceiling fan was of little help. The WiFi was in courtyard only and NOT in any of the rooms. If Tom's Hotel wasn't part of the tour package would have changed hotels on night 2 of the three night... More

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. As we walked in the door we started to sweat. The floor was covered in sand and so where the sheets. There is a really bright street light on the left side of hotel which made the room so bright all night long. Complete dive!!!! Don't do it....

This hotel is set just off the Main Street in Caye Caulker past the cemetery. Very basic rooms and bathrooms. No air-con but a fan in the middle of the room will keep it bearable (just about). Water smelt very funny and the toilet was not very clean when we arrived. Wifi only accessible in the yard.

Stayed here as a part of a tour and had to book somewhere else for the second night It's the hottest place on earth Water has a funny smell and the bed and towels are pretty bad. Stay elsewhere Wifi is ok but only can be accessed outside So it's not secure and quite uncomfortable if your by yourself at... More

I concur with other reviews of Tom's Hotel. The water had a terrible smell and the rooms are almost unbearably hot. It's unfortunate that the building wasn't turned 90 degrees so the windows in the room could catch the breeze off the ocean; incidentally, the hallway was much cooler than the rooms due to the position of the windows.

This was the hotel I hated the most on my group trip. The island is beautiful then you are led to an Incredibly hot room with a lumpy mattress and pillows. Slow ineffective fans and no possibility of air conditioning. Save your time and money if you can

We stayed here for two nights with a tour group but seriously considered stumping up for somewhere else. We were downstairs in the main building which has seen better days. Our bathroom was a mess with something gross smeared around the toilet seat and thick mould around the shower nozzle. Everyone from out tour commented on how the shower water... More

First of all, Tom's Hotel is located quite a walk from the hotspots of activity on Caye Caulker - if you are thinking of going to Caye Caulker, pick something closer to the northern end of the island. Whilst Tom's Hotel covered all the basics of a short stay on a budget hotel, it was reasonable for the price. We... More

Basic accommodation here. Our room had a street light outside and there was no way of blocking the light out. Also very noisy from the hallway. All the doors are self closing and they slam shut so you are kept awake all night with slamming doors. You had to be lucky to get hot water, but at least with the... More

We had different rooms. The one staying in the main building (concrete) all said the rooms are too hot. They have 3 cabanas outside, and that's what you want if you stay there. Most of the rooms in the building are on shared bathroom basis. Other than that the hotel is on the other end to the split, which means... More
