Bad: toilet situation is disgusting. Frequently no working water, clogged toilets and filthy showers/toilets. No breakfast option. Good: nice communal areas with hammocks, next door to dirty mcnasty's.

The accommodation is average - very stuffy in the loft, however Bella's is as cheap as you're likely to find on Caulker and a nice chilled atmosphere. Owner/staff very laid back and easy going. Hostel has a kitchen and an outside area with hammocks. I'd stay there again. Myself and a couple of friends booked the snorkel tour through the... More

Beautiful location, near the seaside. Gentle and kind hosteler. Simple spartan different rooms and dorms, in a wooden house. BUT.. just one bathroom in the whole hostel (!!!!!!!!!!!) , not clean at all and really crowded sometimes.

I had a great time here and met some good people, its very sociable and easy to meet other travellers. There are things that could have been better though, the kitchen was small and not very well equipped. The hammocks outside needed a good wash. However despite these small problems my overall experience there was awesome.

We stayed in one of the private rooms outside of the main hostel dorms. We had a fan and plenty of space. Originally we only planned to stay for two nights but ended up staying for 5 as we felt so at home. Extremely easy going and a great social place to meet people and party.

I stayed at Bella's for one night and from the beginning felt like an inconvenience to the owners. The beds are the worst I have ever slept in during many months of budget traveling and the noise kept me up until 4am. I got 2 hrs of sleep before having to get up to catch my boat at 7am and... Amazing atmosphere. No reception, no nothing, just do whatever you want! We camped in the garden in front of the hostel and it was really cool (and cheap). The dorms are good too though. The communal kitchen is well-equipped and the people there are really friendly. Watch out for the crocodile in the yard though.

when you come to Bella's, you feel like you already know this place, you start living with strangers like they were your family, cooking, discussing, dancing, actually doing whatever you want, exactly like if you were in your own place. you can chose dorms, private rooms or even bring your own taunt. I spent a really nice time at bella's... More

My fiancé and I arrived on Caye caulker with the intention of staying at dirty mcnastys as they had been mentioned to us a few times. When we saw Bella's across the street with all its charm we opted against dirty mcnastys and I was so glad we did. We got a private cabin that came with two beds for... More

I originally stayed at Dirty Mcnasty's just across the street because it had free breakfast and drinks. After 3 nights I moved over to Bella's because I wanted a different experience. The vibe at Bella's was all around better. I ended up extending my trip 3 weeks and staying here made it all worth while. Best hostel on the island!... More
