Stayed the first half of June in upstairs room #2 and the accommodations couldn't have been better. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen, which I used on several occasions to cook meals over the propane burners, was well stocked with utensils, pots & pans, cups and plate ware. Housekeeping changes the bedding every few days... More

Stayed for just over a week in room 5 on the top floor with a balcony. If you share a room at Blue Wave it's pretty much the same price as for a room in a hostel and you get AC. It's basic but quiet, clean and bed was comfy. There is an outside shared kitchen for guests to use.... More

My husband and I stayed one night in the upstairs double bed room. It was our first night on the island, so we really enjoyed having a few beers on the deck overlooking the ocean. What a perfect way to start our stay in Caye! The staff was friendly and the property has the perfect central location. Only steps alway... More

The rooms are quite okay and so is the location. HOWEVER, super dirty bathrooms and beds! I got a rash from the beds and we simply could not use the bathrooms because of their dirty Ness at the end of our stay.

This is most Certainly a First For Blue Wave and we are sorry if these guests had this experience. As seen in all our reviews CLEANLINESS is our Main Priority at this Establishment and has never been an issue. I must believe they are referring to the shared Bath room facilities. Which are always Kept clean. Perhaps their stay was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March, our accommodation was the deluxe cabana at the back of the complex. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the AC worked fine. The check-in lady was really helpful and the housekeepers were really nice. We paid $82USD per night and thought that was good value, next... More

My daughter and I visited Caye Caulker for 4 days and stay here. It was I a great location. Very quiet, but only a few minute away from all the action. Less the 5 minute walk from the split and the Lazy Lizard. All we had to do is walk out on to the street to go diving, fish, and... More

A 5 minute walk from water taxi on the main dirt road brings you to the Blue wave. I would recommend upper level rooms for view, ocean breeze and less noise. Rooms were mostly clean but could be a little cleaner. Small TV, hot water, functional A/C , great location : 5 min walk from "The Split", on main street... More

great location but lacklustre staff. They raise the prices a lot over the Christmas holidays, so the value was terrible. We spent $70 for a small simple room. There are two lawn chairs in a nice garden which are comfortable and a nice touch. The walls are very thin as well....
