We stayed in one of the mid-range rooms. It was cheaper then almost all other hotel-style rooms in the area, and one of the nicest we looked at. The even cheaper 'budget rooms' looked nice enough and are as cheap as the crummy hostels nearby. Shared spaces (kitchen, courtyard) are beautiful. Excellent private dock for sun-tanning. Room was very clean,... More

The rooms are ok but that is all. We've payed 80 Belize dollars plus tax per night for rooms worth maximally 30 BZ. A poor and not very clean bathroom, uncomfortably beds and a ton of houseroules. We didn't feel welcome at all. Management office was closed whole sunday so we couldn't aquire the Wifi code. Went to another hostel... More

The room was simple and basic, but for me it was perfect! I loved the natural wood interior and all the windows filling the room with sunlight and the ocean breeze. I rarely spend time lounging in the room, which is why I save money booking basic accommodations. However, I actually unfolded the beach chair on the balcony, propped my... More

Stayed here 1 night after an all day snorkel trip, because it was right across the street from the snorkel company. Great location, walkable to many restaurants and shops, and a close enough walk to the split. Our room was not waterfront, but it had a small balcony where you could sit and still see a view of the ocean,... More

Stayed the first half of June in upstairs room #2 and the accommodations couldn't have been better. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen, which I used on several occasions to cook meals over the propane burners, was well stocked with utensils, pots & pans, cups and plate ware. Housekeeping changes the bedding every few days... More

Stayed for just over a week in room 5 on the top floor with a balcony. If you share a room at Blue Wave it's pretty much the same price as for a room in a hostel and you get AC. It's basic but quiet, clean and bed was comfy. There is an outside shared kitchen for guests to use.... More

My husband and I stayed one night in the upstairs double bed room. It was our first night on the island, so we really enjoyed having a few beers on the deck overlooking the ocean. What a perfect way to start our stay in Caye! The staff was friendly and the property has the perfect central location. Only steps alway... More

The rooms are quite okay and so is the location. HOWEVER, super dirty bathrooms and beds! I got a rash from the beds and we simply could not use the bathrooms because of their dirty Ness at the end of our stay.

This is most Certainly a First For Blue Wave and we are sorry if these guests had this experience. As seen in all our reviews CLEANLINESS is our Main Priority at this Establishment and has never been an issue. I must believe they are referring to the shared Bath room facilities. Which are always Kept clean. Perhaps their stay was... More
