Spent 3 great nights at the Lazy Iguana Bed & Breakfast February 2013 and would highly recommend the accomodations for anyone looking for a quiet place to relax while on Caye Caulker. We were travelling with a family party of five adults and as mentioned in previously reviews, the units were clean, cool and had good WiFi connections. Breakfast with... More

We had a great experience at Lazy Iguana. We enjoyed the quiet location, friendly neighbors and the A/C. The owners were away, but the caretaker (Fannie) was extremely helpful in recommending great local food (Little Kitchen!) and activities for us. We'd stay there again for sure.

This was a wonderful place to stay - Fanny takes great care of all her guests and her breakfasts are wonderful. Access to wifi was a plus. Bikes were available to get around and it was just a terrific visit overall.

I stayed at the Lazy Iguana for nearly two weeks in August. I wanted to go diving and get some work done on my computer. Can't imagine a better place for a quiet getaway. Special Note: Fan makes a great breakfast and takes perfect care of your room -- a genuine treasure.

My wife and I came here for half of our honeymoon. It is beautiful, clean and quiet. Fannie provided the best breakfast every morning. We had bikes to use to explore the island. It was everything we had been promised!

Once you arrive on Caye Caulker via the water taxi from Belize City, your luggage is swiftly unloaded and you walk down a nicely constructed wooden pier about 500’ where, at its’ end, your feet touch the palm tree shaded cool soft sand and you’re greeted by a number of English speaking fellows offering golf cart “cab” rides. Each one... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and loved everything about it. Leading up to the trip, they responded to emails very quickly with helpful information. Fanny was there to meet us on our first night and was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay. From restaurant recommendations to how to get around, she was always available and very kind.... Wanted to take my brother on a special birthday and my girlfriends suggested the Lazy Iguana. The owners were away and Fanny was our hostess. Fanny had our room ready clean and a smile on her face. She advised us how to get around and assured us if we needed anything she was there. We had the place to ourselves... More

Stayed here for several nights on a last minute trip to Belize with friends. Caye Caulker is very small so almost anywhere you stay will be a few minutes away from the main drag of town. This property is a little further than many other places and a walk or bike home late at night can feel a little isolated.... More
