We booked this hotel via internet. We took a cabin with sea view. Price was cheap, so we expected just for basic conditions. Our disappointment was huge. We booked for 2 nights and fled from this "hotel" after one night. It was the most disgusting place we ever hosted in. (Even compared to very low priced hostels). Unclean and neglected room,... More

If you enjoy the aroma of raw sewage, then this might be the hotel for you! In addition to the charming smell which greets you as you enter the hut, populated by ants, lizards, strays and, most of all, dirt, you will also find, for your comfort, a lack of toilet paper, towels or a light in the bathroom. Prepare... More

This place is value for money. We only paid BZ$30 for one night. If you don't mind roughing it a bit this is the place to stay on the island. You have everything you need, the rooms are quite clean and the terrace with the hammock is a major plus. The reason why we can give this place only 1/5... More

This places was charming and a great quiet location. It was rustic for sure, but for the price it was fantastic! We've been traveling for a year and a half and this place stands out to us as a favorite so many months later. Someone in a previous post complained of fleas, but those are sand flies and they are... I had three nights with a friend in a cabin in front of the sea; cabins are simple and clean, a great amaca on the balcony will let you relax with the wind's sound. Very very cheap, you can rent a bike to ride the island; we met a nice friend there, Max the dog who slept in our balcony... More

Its probably one of the cheapest places on Caulker and it certainly reflects it. I would have originally given this place 2 stars. For its price you can get a view, a grimy room with two beds, a barely functioning toilet and shower and one dim light bulb. And the proprietor is at least friendly and helpful. That is expected... A step above camping, as others have said. Pretty sure the sink and shower pipe water straight from the ocean, as it smells pretty bad. Toilet broke frequently. Fan has two settings: off, and shaking so violently you're afraid it's going to rip out of the wall. Located far away from the happening place on the island, for better or... More

I dont get the negativity towards this place. I am a global traveler and not some nube back packer. If you want air con, open the door. If you want hot water, stay in a hotel, if you want a party scene, go stay in town. If you pay £15 a night you get £15 a night not £150 a... More

In our attempt to stay in a reasonably priced place, we checked into a small cabin at Ignacio's. Despite having a view of the water, the place was down right horrid and should be shut down as it is in no condition for people to stay in. The cabin was falling apart, there is no light in the bathroom and... More

We are renting a cabana here for about a week and are very happy with the value. The place itself is located in a tucked away little section to the south of the island and sees very little foot traffic. The balcony over looks the east side of the island and is an amazing place to watch the sun rise... More
