Manuel and his wife may not be on the Lonely Planet anymore but this guesthouse has the best price for the best view on Caye Caulker. The whole island seemed fully booked until we stumbled on this quiet little place. It may have an old look to the room but it certainly is clean. The shower is the best we... More

We spent four nights at this place, the attitude of Manuel the owner could barely be any worse. Besides being quite blunt and unfriendly, after three days we asked to have the sheets changed (the heat and humidity in the room will make you sweat a lot!) and took a while to convince him. Ten minutes after accepting he went... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Lena's guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing right near the water and the rooms , although older , are clean and comfortable. We received fresh towels every day and the showers were nice and hot with good pressure. The price was definitely right, the owners are lovely.

Nothing beats the view and breeze at this lovely rustic, belizian guesthouse. Showers have hot water and towels were changed everyday! The owners were very friendly and always asked what were had been upto. Very genuine Had such a lovely time on this island.

When we first arrived at Lena's I was slightly dubious because as some other reviewers have mentioned, it looks slightly run down both on the inside and out. I quickly warmed to its rustic Belizean charm though. The beachfront location is probably the best one on the island, the building is so close to the sea, there is nothing to... More

The room had an endearing charm and was really clean. The maid came every day, which doesn't happen everywhere! View from the balcony is gorgeous. Manager was really friendly and helpful and we were allowed to leave our bags in the room long after the check out time.

Lena's Guest House is located 500 meters or so south of the main water taxi dock. A golf cart taxi will gladly take you there, but there's really no need. More fun to walk the beach and scope some menu boards to see what you'd like for dinner. Lena's is quaint. You won't find anything fancy here. The rooms are... More

A characteristic place stunningly located right on the beach. A real gem in Cay Caulker, situated in a quiet part of town. Looks a bit rundown on first impression (especially from the outside), but the rooms are clean, the mattresses are comfy and new, and the bathroom is OK. It has a great veranda to relax and gaze over the... More

Fantastic budget option if you want an ensuite double. Found this place in the lonely planet and it really does meet it's description. The room also has a ceiling fan, decoratively it is a little run down and could do with some work, but if you are on a budget and want the feel of a belizean beachshack this is... More
