I cannot believe I forgot to review Sandy Lane after I spent almost a month there with my charming and lovely host, Miss Elma. I went on the recommendation of friends and stayed there for 10 days alone in a lovely little cottage with full kitchen, full bath for a most reasonable price. It was a quiet, very clean, lovely... We rented a pretty basic room with a private bath. It was comfy and clean enough for the stellar price of $20-. For those who are traveling to Caye Caulker and are on a budget, this is an excellent place to stay.

Had one room for three people for only 25belize dollar. It just had one double bed and a singlrebed as well as a sink. Restroom and shower are outside. Everything was clean. Towels, toilet paper and soap were in the room. Also we had a fan in the room. Owner was friendly.

It was clean and affordable - hard to complain. My room had a floor fan, a ceiling fan, two windows with blinds (it was a corner single room with a private bathroom) which kept the room cool. No internet, but there was hot water, two towels, and it was in a good location.

If you're looking for clean rooms in a guesthouse run by two of the friendliest people on earth, Sandy Lane is for you! Miss Elma and Mr Rico own a fantastic guesthouse with a choice of rooms right in the centre of town between front and middle street - double and triple with shared bathroom, doubles with private bathroom, or... The Sandy Lane Guesthouse was exactly how I imagined my stay on a Carribean island to be and that is a rare occurance. As the reviewer below notes there is not a lot of information/advertising about the Sany Lane and there is no email address, so we jumped on skype and called them and spoke to the lovely Alma and... Sandy Lane has a hostel type lodging with shared bathroom, or a hotel type simple room with private bathrooms, or larger self contained cabanas. Everything is really cheap. Caye Caulker is one of the most relaxed places on earth, no one worries about anything. We arrived late on the water taxi from chetumal and went on a reccomendation from someones... More

This is probably the cheapest and best value for your money you can find on Caye Caulker. My fiancé and I had a private cabin with the shared bathrooms (they are in the middle of the property), although there was a sink in the room. We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves back on Caye Caulker.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our last night in Caye Caulker and we were disappointed we didn't find Sandy sooner! We were re-directed to Sandy after Jeremiah's Inn was booked up and she set us up in the private double with shared bath for BZ$25 a night (TOTAL!). There is no way you could find a cheaper or...
