Our stay could have been better. Front staff were not friendly or helpful. Our room was not properly made before we checked in, no towels, stains on the bed linen and the toilet had the last persons business in it!!!! We're told we had wifi when we checked in but later when i went to ask about it not working... More

I have stayed at the China Town on several occasions with large groups through an organization. It is one of the cheapest hotels on the Caye, but there is a reason. In the 4 times I have stayed here, I have seen toilets overflowing sewage into the rooms (while people were stuck in the bathroom as the door would not... More

For the price that you pay in this place, it's pretty much 'flash packer' luxury! There are different rooms for different prices but all have a/c, TV, fan and amazing little touches like razors, soap, mosquito repellent machine thing (not sure how you call those things). Wifi is fast, the pool area is smashing with a super comfy covered area... More

Rooms might looks clean and nice, but it's all very bad. Bad service, for one. Our toilet didn't flush for our entire stay (3 nights) and despite asking them to fix it everyday that didn't happen. Also the shower and sink were unusable, the maid only took towels (didn't change them) and they also don't change sheets, only make the... More

I have stayed in many places but this was by far the worst ever. I cannot find one positive thing to say about this 'hotel'. I felt completely unsafe while staying here. Anyone was able to enter and walk throughout the hotel. Groups of men were drinking and shouting up and down the corridors and knocking on others' bedroom doors.... More

My boyfriend and i were recommended by a local guy to stay at the china town hotel, we were 2 couples so it was perfect since they had rooms for 4people! Very clean room, nice air conditioning and a flat screen tv!! It was nice because we also had a little fridge in our room, and a kitchen downstairs that... More

I've travelled around the world and this is hands down the WORST place I've ever stayed. Dodgy, dirty, noisy, unsafe, rude staff, fake website (there is NO pool!), ants in bed, broken toilets, non-existent wifi, smoke stenched lobby...the list could go on and on. Sleep on the sand before you choose this place, you'll probably be safer. Booked by our... More

This hotel is in the middle of Caye Caulker and there was alot of noise. Sleep was almost impossible on many of the nights. And the Chinese people who run the place absolutely refused to give us a refund so that we could find a more quiet place to rest. They required that we pay for our stay up-front (don't... More

We stayed here with tucan travel tours and were initially really disappointed. The average room was tiny no window very dated or pokey mould on walls holes in sheets. Only when we kept complaining did we get upgraded to a lovely recently refurbished room. Unfortunately only 2 other members of the group got the upgrade as well. Caged rabbits and... More

The rooms are basic (but clean) and their windows are too small to let in much natural light, but they're spacious enough. The best thing about this hotel was staying in one of the 2 penthouse rooms on the great roof terrace. If you can get one of those, you're laughing.
