Caye Caulker can be difficult to find budget accommodations without staying in a 12 bed dorm, so Anchorage Resort was in our price range. For the price we paid, it was good enough. The hotel was a little too far removed from the main area for our liking, but location is well documented in previous reviews, so it was a... More

Planned on staying a day or two, wound up staying five days. Perfect location away from all the jammed-together spots near the main dock. Rooms are comfy. Friendly staff. There's nothing to do but relax. And isn't that why we go to places like this?

I found the room spacious and clean. The air conditioning and ceiling fans provided sufficient comfort. The bathroom was clean and the shower head plenty of hot flowing water. The balcony was nice to sit on in the evening and mornings to enjoy the cool breezes blowing in from the ocean. The hammocks and the courtyard were also a welcome... More

would stay here again, and probably a bit better than most on the island, just more typical room facilities to a 2.5 star US property. Outside is very clean and well presented and use of the private dock and beach area a bonus, but it is at the end of the town and requires a longer walk to restaurants, etc... More

This is the second time we have stayed here, first time was three years ago. Awesome place to enjoy a layer back vacation. A little south of town, nice walk along the beach to get there. Very friendly helpful staff. Snorkeling off the dock, kayaked up to the Split and along the west side of the island. Nice white sand... More

Stayed here for a few days and the location is the best thing about it, especially if you want to walk in the nature area. Staff were helpful and the rooms are clean but very dated. Shower was very poor and no bedside lighting.

When my old friend and I arrived a week ago, we weren't certain how we liked the Anchorage. By the end of the day we decided we'd lucked into the best lodging on the island. Why? THE VIEW. THE STAFF. THE LOCATION. Our balcony on the third floor has fantastic views of the sea, sunset and sunrise. And it's close... More

We stayed two nights at Anchorage Resort on Caye Caulker and, while it was simple and basic, I wouldn't stay there again. It's an older building that recently had a new coat of paint but the old-fashioned design blocks out all the views. Even though we were staying in the best room in the building - at the top beach-front... More

Its a great place if you like to be on the water and have access to a good dock. I love the little cabana that is available with hammocks and I also love the beach volleyball court. Great for activity and great for relaxation.

Darwin and the whole staff did a great job. We will stay here next year when we come back. Only we will stay there for our whole trip next time. The location was quiet and very beautiful just what we where looking for. Thanks Darwin
