We were in San Pedro for 1 week and stayed at the Banana Beach resort the entire time. I would highly recommened this hotel. We though banana beach was an excellent deal, the location was perfect (not too close to the hustle of the city, yet walking distance), and the facilities were much more than i was expecting. The 2... more

We chose Banana Beach hotel as a component of a semi-all-inclusive package from Cahal Pech Resort in San Ignacio (reviewed separately). We were in no way disappointed - everything went according to plan. The 2 day trips scheduled with Banana Beach, Hol Chan/Shark Ray alley and Beach BBQ (linked with Seaduced By Belize tour group) were great and the local... more

Our room was very clean! Our room was cleaned every day, they did our dishes and brought us new towls. The hotel itself was beautiful and always kept clean. Every morning I would see people taking care of the plants. The staff was AMAZING! They were so nice and always soo helpful!! El Divino had some of the best food... more

This hotel was exactly what we saw online. The landscaping was gorgeous. One ivy leaf was the size of my head !!! The big pool hadn't been cleaned all the way, but no big deal, the 2nd pool was small relaxing & had a cool waterfall type fountain on one wall. The free breakfasts were enough to keep us full... more

I asked for a second floor ocean front suite and that is what I got. I wanted someone to take care of all my reservations for snorkeling and fishing and they did. I wanted a good meal and friendly service and that is what I got. I wanted a clean well kept resort and that is exactly what I got.... more

When my husband and I arrived at Banana Beach Hotel we were greeted by a hostile receptionist. We had arrived a day early and although the room we had booked was available (we would have taken anything there for the one night) she was quite snappy and not very friendly at all. When we were checking in she was literally... more

A group of 8 of us stayed at Banana Beach for two weeks over this past Christmas. I can not say enough good things about this resort. The staff were prompt, kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and well kept up. I have seen a few people complaining on this website and I can not for the life of... more

We stayed at Banana Beach Dec 22 - Dec 27. To begin with the staff was very friendly and helpful. My son was sick (from some bad water or food in mexico) and they went out of their way to make sure he was ok, and we were all comfortable. The food at the restaurant is very good, as are... more

The hotel is very tired. The entire place needs an update. Friendly staff. El Divino, was not so Divine, the food was not very good. The pay for your taxi both ways to the terminal, that was nice. Would pick another place next time. more
