I stayed here with my mom, and 2 kids (neice and newphew). The hotel couldn't be cleaner, and the staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel room was bigger then my apartment. The pool was lovely, the kids really enjoyed that. All day free coffee and juice, and a hospitality hour which kept us from needing to pop out to eat.... more

Great location if you want to stay by the mall and only 15 minutes to Dolphin/Marlins stadium. Found the rooms to be a little dirty for Marriott standards. Breakfast and happy hour food was typical. Fitness center was well equipped with free weights and cardio but no H2O station. Overall not a bad stay but the #2 rating on TA... more

I stayed at the Residence Inn, Aventura while my husband was in the Aventura hospital for 7 days. (This was after getting air lifted from Bonaire during our vacation.) The EMT in the ambulance suggested it over the Hampton Inn next to the hospital ( due to safety of the location) The hotel exceeded my expectations. It had a full... more

Stayed here for 4 nights. We were in the area to see family members. The hotel was in a good location for our visiting and also for shopping, dining, and highway access. We had a 1-bedroom suite- it was not a lot of space, but we appreciated having the door between the two rooms. The room was quiet. The breakfast... more

Our party of 5 was at this Residence Inn for 2 nights. 2 bedroom/2bath suite with good privacy. Full kitchen including dishwasher. Ice machine in our refrigerator was broken. Everything was clean. Furniture was a little tired, but OK. Bathrooms were fine with acceptable water pressure/temperature. The mattress on the pullout sofa was very uncomfortable. Good location in Aventura...close to... more

Stayed here for a week back in December. While this is not as nice as some of the newer Residence Inns, it wasn't a bad place at all. There were signs around the hotel that seemed to indicate that some sort or renovation or update may be coming. PROS: - Location is great. Nicely situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn Saturday Night Dec 6 for a family wedding. Our room was clean. It was also small, extremely smelly, oppresive, and had very old furniture. The pool area is small and already shady when we got there so it was not a nice place to sit. Some of the desk staff did not understand my... more

We did a precruise stay here using Marriott points. It is located about halfway between Ft Lauderdale and Miami, about 12 miles from the Ft Lauderdale airport. We had a one bedroom suite and it had a mini kitchen complete with a dishwasher. They have a pool and a hottub and a complete breakfast. It is located by the Aventura... more

The Residence Inn is a typical Residence Inn once you walk through the doors. What makes this hotel special is location location location! Our friends stayed across the street at the Turnberry and were shocked at their price tag compared to ours. It's located walking distance to the Aventura Mall and the surrounding area is gorgeous. The hotel staff seemed... more

I stayed here on a recent trip to the Miami area. It was very centrally located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, which is why I picked it in the first place. My room was nice (actual suite with a door between the living area and the sleeping area) and I was right next to the laundry room, which was convenient... more
