The Resort is Amazing. I stayed here for 14 nights, and had to change from one building to another mid stay. When I stayed in the Jasmine Building the service and room were formidable. It is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The room had luxuries that I appreciated like a TV in the bathroom, wireless... more

We booked a short weekend stay at the Fairmont Turnberry for the Fourth of July weekend. We got a great web rate of $99 per night (plus all the extras), so it was an easy decision choosing which hotel to stay at. Other hotels in the area were double the price and not anywhere near as nice. The resort is... more

I have booked this hotel in a rush and did not really have the time neither to read reviews nor to really think in which area of Miami I wanted to stay, and it was a really nice surprise. The situation is a bit outside all the thrilling activity of Miami but it's still not that far from downtown or... more

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Fairmont Turnberry back in March. It was our first time staying outside of South Beach, but we were very satisified with our choice. If you're into golf and beach, it's a perfect combination. Renting a car is not necessary, but we did anyway. Parking is kind of expensive ($30 daily) but I... more

The hotel has beautiful grounds and Aventura has alot to offer, but the rooms...although large....are just a step above a full service Marriott/Hyatt. The golf is OK, but the two courses...although emaculate...are resort coursed, therefore shorter and more target golf. The rates drop considerably in the Summer and if you can stand the heat....a better deal during those months. The... more

As with all Fairmonts, the staff and the property were amazing. The rooms were perfect, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and the restaurants were great, a little pricey, but wonderful. The little extras this hotel offered really put it over the top;, shaved ice for drinks in the lobby bar, a shuttle to anywhere you wanted... more

What a beautiful hotel! I can't say one negative thing about it. The grounds are beautiful, golf course was in great condition, the staff was outstanding! I loved the spa, their attention to detail was second to none, and the pools were amazing. I spent more time at the quiet pool while my husband played golf and I have never... more

We have stayed at the Fairmont about 5 times and I keep trying to find another place in Miami/FLL to compare it to. I can't. The compound is spacious and the pool area blissful. The hotel was probably one of the first to have large rooms and flat panel tvs. You won't be disappointed. more

Overall, we were happy with our 3-day stay at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle, but there were a few items which I think did not quite live up to my expectations (and I think I'm fairly reasonable); so here is the break down of the good and the bad: The Grounds: Beautiful. Very well kept; you truly do feel like you... more

I'm not going to write an extensive review because there are plenty of those already. But i did want to chime in with how great this hotel was. The rooms are way bigger than normal hotel rooms these days. The year before, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne (a dump by comparison) in a room half the size... more
