The Gibson Inn in Apalachicola is the place to stay. Very laid back, very comfortable, very clean. Great people providing excellent service. In house restaurant is one of the best places to dine in town. Our trip took us from Mobile, AL through Daphne, Fairhope and Point Clear, Alabama to Pensacola, Panama City, Destin, FL and many small towns along... More

We did not enjoy our stay at the Gibson Inn. We stayed October 10 &11, 2014. The first thing that disappointed us started with the reservation. We found out after we made our reservations that they were running a special that started Oct 10, stay for three nights pay for two. It would have been nice to have known about... More

We stayed at the Gibson Inn in Feb of 2014 and really enjoyed this property. Although it is older (and historic) we found the accommodations to be very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking around downtown Apalachicola to visit the little shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent two nights at the inn and the front desk staff was awesome. Very accommodating. The rooms are clean. They DO NOT need to be updated as another reviews state (it's a historic inn genius....). Affordable too for the location and cleanliness. Definitely recommended.

We loved our stay in the Gibson Inn with its spacious rooms, fabulous history and perfect location. We also got a little history lesson from the owner Michael, who knows more about Apalach history than most people. What a great place and great town!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It's very nice, clean. We liked it's design and atmosphere (classic). But staff doesn't seem to care much about their guests. They didn't explain us breakfast hours well, so we came 15 minutes before breakfast was over, and they had already cleaned everything. We asked for a little snack at least, but the lady... More

We stayed 3 nights at Gibson Inn mainly because the room was available. We got the King Suite which was very large and comfortable. The Inn is old and needs some quality maintenance, but is quite a beautiful place. Wish they would upgrade the details (finish work, fit of the door, etc) to make it match the price and the... More

Recently spent two nights at the Gibson Inn. Love the staff, the location and the history of the building, but the hotel needs some updating. The beds are very uncomfortable. Bathroom could use a better shower head too. And all hotels need to get rid of those plastic cups in plastic liners. If you have a kitchen and a dishwasher... More
