I normally do not enjoy B&B's, but I had a great experience at the Apalachicola Historical Inn. The innkeeper was exceptionally friendly and accommodating without being at all intrusive. As soon as we walked in we made ourselves at home, tuning the large TV in the common area to our football game and helping ourselves to a beer. The innkeeper was very nice and cordial and gave us a full tour of the house. There are VCR/DVD movies available, but all rooms share a single player. There is a small porch on the second floor and a larger, wrap-around porch on the main floor. We did not use either one because the weather at this time was still a little on the hot and humid side.

Cons: This facility is located on the corner of U.S. Hwy 98 West and FL 384. The traffic light at this intersection insures that the majority of loud trucks and motorcycles will make their...
