I go to Apalachicola every year and the Consulate Suites were highly recommended. I stayed in the Consul Suite last October and enjoyed it very much. This is a beautiful historic building and has a great location. So a friend and I took a four day vacation from July 23 thru July 26. We had one shower the whole time... More

We stayed three days at the Consulate Suites in Apalachicola. The building is excellent renovated and looks like 200 years ago. We stayed in the Attache room, which is suite with a balcony and garden view. The furniture in the living room and in the bedroom are great. However, some limitations have to be mentioned. The bathroom is designed in... More

My husband and I stayed in The Port Captain, the smallest of the suites, and were very happy with our experience. The suite is beautiful, comfortable, roomy, and right in the middle of where you want to be. The suite consists of a nice-sized living room, a full kitchen, and a small but comfortable bedroom with a large closet and... More

We visit Apalach a few times a year and always try to stay at the Consulate Suites. Every time it has been lovely. This time we stayed at The Consul Suite of theirs; it is spacious two bedroom with balcony overlooking the water side. The kitchen had everything we needed and the wifi was free and consistent. T.Vs in both... More

Seeking warm weather and a new place to "call home", Marcia and I decided to visit Apalachacola (we love oysters). Found the Consulate via Google and reserved a suite. Luckiest decision I've made in ages. I booked for one night, but we stayed longer, necessitating different suites. Each suite has everything you could want, including washer/dryer, full kitchen, hand ironed... More

We stayed in the Ambassador suite in mid-February 2015, and the "apartment" is absolutely beautiful! Brick walls, restored wood floors, white woodwork, balcony that overlooks the Apalachicola river, fully equipped luxury kitchen, and wonderfully decorated, including a handpainted mural in the bathroom. There is even a "library": an area with floor to ceiling bookcases and comfy chairs. This was such... More

We had an enjoyable stay at the Attaché’ suite. It was a nice quiet time to be visiting Apalachicola. That was just what we were looking for. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops from the terrific location. The park across the street is very nice too. Let’s start with what was good…. Internet worked great. Heating... We just stayed for one night in this HUGE apartment in the lovely town of Apalachicola. We arrived too late to meet anyone (the keys were in a box with a code) but the place itself was amazing. Very tasteful, nice treats, very comfortable beds. We loved everything. It has all the amenities but with a true charm. You feel... More

We just stayed at the Consulate in the Ambassador Suite. It was great...beyond category. We had stayed at Coombs House, a B&B as well. This place is an apartment where you can cook if you want to and just feel like you are at home in your own nest. (Ok, Luxury nest) It was great. Coombs House was great too... More

This place is amazing wonderful accommodations. Best location and amazing price for what you get!!! Don't stay anywhere else!!!!! We stayed in the Port Captain Quarters and it is equivalent to a 4- diamond resort. So comfortable and very well appointed. We will be back!
