This place is amazing wonderful accommodations. Best location and amazing price for what you get!!! Don't stay anywhere else!!!!! We stayed in the Port Captain Quarters and it is equivalent to a 4- diamond resort. So comfortable and very well appointed. We will be back!

This building was built in 1880 by the JE Brady Co, as a hardware and ships store. The Brady store is still there but as a gift shop. The second floor, in the early 1900s, housed the French Consulate, the Captain of the Port and the US Customs office. The building has now been restored and reinvented into four luxury... More

Rooms were beautiful with a great little balcony overlooking a little park. Might be the best view of any place in town. Rooms were beautiful. My wife got very sick and we had to leave a day early, so our visit was sadly shortened. We paid full price for the night we could not stay, but I understand that. All... More

A comfortable room and well equipped kitchen enabled us to make use of the seafood market across the road. When the sun shone, the balcony was a very pleasant place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. Note that the rooms are not serviced during a stay unless specifically requested. This was not a problem for us.

The Consulate Suites was a great choice for our weekend in Apalachicola. We stayed in the Port Captain suite. The room was very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary tools, gadgets, utensils, etc. My wife liked the wine glasses so much we bought some at a local store. There was a balcony overlooking the river. We enjoyed some wine... More

We have been wanting to vacation in Apalacicola for several yrs, the perfect place to stay for 7 days is the Consulate - we stayed in the 1 bedroom-furnishings were super, We could cook in the suite or walk a few min to great Resturant's, we will be back soon and recommend it 100%.

My husband and I stayed in The Consulate in September. We are so happy we made this choice. We had the one bedroom apartment. The apartment was perfect for us, we felt as though we were at "home." The location could not be better. I spent my mornings on our balcony having breakfast and watching the boats come back in... More

Terrific location, great accommodations, reasonable rates - what more could you ask? We were right in the middle of the waterfront in our own 'apartment'. We had a private balcony with adirondack chairs overlooking the water. We had a kitchen/living area - VERY attractive and beautifully furnished. The bedroom was a bit small, but it was tucked back in so... More

Location could not be better, right in the center of the waterfront area and convenient to restaurants and shops. The smaller of the 2 bedroom suites was perfect, much larger than expected. It is ideal for 2 couples but can accommodate 7 with by using sofas. Wish the weather, over 90, had been cooler so we could have enjoyed the... More

We stayed here with friends for 2 nights in the Consul Suite. The suite was spacious, elegantly appointed, and perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. The laundry facilities in the room were a pleasant surprise. The best part however was the balcony overlooking the water. This was a great spot to... More
