A quaint B&B that exudes charm. Our 2 room suite with a private outside veranda was almost perfect. No decent mirror was the only flaw. We had plenty of room & only crossed a small parking area for breakfast in the main mansion each morning. The location was perfect in that we could walk wherever we wanted to go. I'm... More

We had high expectations for our stay. The staff were very welcoming upon our arrival, but it all seemed a bit rehearsed and rushed as opposed to warm and personal; which I'd expect from a B&B. We stayed in the "guest house". Although the room was lovely and charming, the shower head was completely broken so the water mostly trickled... More

Loved our room decor, very clean, the hosts were nice, and overall the inn is intriguing. The town is very laid back, loved the Maritime Museum, and found the best oysters at a little place called "Hole in the Wall," which it was, literally. Great food, best gumbo ever. Unfortunately, a few simple items could have changed the inn rating... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the coombs house inn. We stayed in room #9 (sandpiper)... quiet and private. no one to either side of us or above us. The room was lovely and very clean. There is some road traffic during the night but not enough to be worrisome. The innkeepers are so nice and friendly. Our breakfast was... More

What a wonderful place to stay. We were late arriving and the staff were so kind in their concern that we got our key and found our room. Breakfast was blueberry french toast that was delicious. Thanks

Very pleasant & happy stay. The staff was more than accommodating; could not have been any sweeter to my husband & myself. Clean room & bath; nice bed linens & bath linens, good mattress & good pillows!!! We enjoyed our lovely breakfast on the deck/patio. I would recommend the Coombs House Inn to anyone!

Our recent stay at CHI was everything we hoped it would be. Our room (#11 "Heaven") was super clean and elegantly furnished. The bed was super comfortable with fresh linens and loads of pillows. The bathroom was spacious, with large jacuzzi tub, shower, antique vanity, and his/her sinks. As we perused the premises, we found all of the rooms decorated... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful giving you a map of city and giving you menus of various restaurants. Room was great and I loved that they left bath salts for the Jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was wonderful with a hot breakfast as well as breads, cereal and bagels, my husband enjoyed the afternoon cookies and coffee. Inn has a great... More

We stayed in room 16, in the smaller of the two properties. We were greeted by a hostess, who had been with the inn for 15 years. We were showed the house and then our room. I had asked for a king sized bed and found the room to be very tight (not surprising for a house this age but... More

We were impressed with our stay. Planned to stay one night, but stayed two, in different rooms, both of which were very clean and comfortable. Greeted by Renee, very friendly and informative. The breakfast was hot, good, and plenty of food. It was nice to stay in such a historical place with beautiful architecture and furnishings. It was a breath... More
