We stayed at Coombs House Inn on our way to New Orleans last July and liked it so much we decided to take a long weekend in October. Everyone who works at this Inn gets an A for their hospitality. Great breakfasts and we enjoyed a happy hour wine. Apalachicola is the kind of place we could see living in... More

If you like History, Antiques, and a nice Breakfast you will love the Coombs House Inn. The decorative wooded trim around the walls, stairway and dining room is amazing. It is the closest thing to time travel back to the early 1900's that one may reach just by going on vacation. Call and make plans today, you will have fun.

We had lots of choices but are glad we decided on the Coombs House Inn because it had it ALL! The property was comfortable, charming and spotless. The breakfast was the only thing we felt did not live up to the excellent rating...it was however very good. The staff was warm and friendly sincerely seemed to have us a their... More

This is a great place. I always stay here when I come. The staff work really hard to make your stay pleasurable. I enjoy the quaint walks and bike rides through the neighborhoods and to downtown. Quick drive or ride to St George Island.

We had chosen the Coombs Inn based on positive reviews, on a road trip from Orlando to New Orleans. We arrived after a long and tiring journey to a less than friendly welcome. The lady who checked us in was more concerned about getting our payment before she even showed us our room. The room was quaint, with a range... More

Stayed one night with my husband. The owner of this romantic victorian B&B was super accomodating. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi suites and it was divine. Only thing i could remark on was the noise from the bathroom fan when turned on. Nice breakfast with home made quiche. Walking distance from the cozy town area. Parking right outside... More

The Coombs House Inn was lovely. The Inn is centrally located, only two blocks from the historic downtown and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I stayed in Room 15 of the "villas" house at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious and well-appointed with an en suite. Although I did not... More

We stayed in the Main house in The Raney room. It was beautiful and very cozy! Just perfect! Great breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies. The staff was full of hospitality and made us feel very welcome. We walked all around downtown and enjoyed all the gift shops and restaurants! Downtown was within a couple of blocks (easy walk), but... More

This is a very nice B & B, with antique decorations and very well appointed common areas and rooms. We stayed in room 10, on the third floor and were very happy with it, even though there was no elevator. It was quiet, had two beds and was very reasonably priced. They served quiche for breakfast along with fruit, breads,... More

We stayed in the King jacuzzi room which was well appointed and very very clean. We can't say enough of how well we were treated and the delicious breakfast. All restaurants were with a short walk. We love to walk in the mornings and left at 6AM for our walk and felt safe. Bikes are available too! Dinner at the... More
