We were traveling on Valentines Day 2015 and left ft. Myers and were going to drive a couple of hours and get a room around Tampa. Started trying to get a room and there was no availability anywhere-- and I do mean anywhere with any major chain. Finally found this room in Alachua and took it. Paid $80 which I... More

This hotel has nice staff but the rooms need a good general cleaning. Roof was water stained. Stuff on the walls. Shower head put together by tape. Looked like they had people who have extended stays. The microwave was broken. But in general the room needed a good cleaning. We had four rooms and some were better than others. I... More

I can appreciate in remote areas the hotels being a bit aged. However, the first bummer was the rust ring around the drain so my daughter couldn't take a bath. Room 101 had nice covers over the mattress and nice and clean beds. Around the perimeter of the room was a dust ring where the cleaning staff must not have... More

I was skep on staying here but Im glad I did the young lady at the desk was very helpful and knew the answers to my questions that I had. She was very kind and knowledgeable about her surroundings. The room was nice could have been better lighting but overall was a good nights rest. But because of this young... More

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel a week ago. Checking in at 2am tired from being on the road and ready for a nice warm bed. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were nice crisp and clean. Breakfast was set up and beautiful. I do plan to stop here... More

Traveling to Miami, needed a stay over. Immediate impression is that it's run down, shabby. Walked into the lobby to check in and there was a sign stating " we'll be right back. " had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up. Room smells clean but it ends there. Grease stains (i hope they tried to wash!) On... More

Bad service, dirty rooms!! Overpriced. Overcharged on credit card and had to fight to correct it. Would not stay here again. Owner / management unsympathetic and did not appoligize. Stay anywhere else.

Got a good rate, but got a smoking room with old carpet. Frig froze everything first night, carpet had so many tunnel burns it's lucky the room hadn't burned down. Bare feet turned black from carpet damage. On the plus side, staff was helpful and changed frig and were always friendly. Breakfast ends early, 9am, but staff will break out... More

Clean and satisfactory for the price. Our dog stayed for an extra $10. Decent breakfast with a very good waffle. I would recommend for a nice place if you're just going to sleep. The internet was a little sketchy, but always came back on.

Stayed here for a dog show in Ft. White. Took us about 15 minutes to drive to the show. The rate is way too high for the hotel. $69/night plus $10/pet per night for pet fee. For this type and kind of hotel I would have expected $39-$49. There is very little grass for walking right on the property but... More
