We stayed here for 1 night because it was inexpensive and close to where we were going. It has been renamed, maybe bought out? Now called the Red Carpet Inn, Ashford. From the pics on here they are working on the place. Our room had a brand new sleep number bed which was really nice. Bathroom was very dated, along... More

We paid seventy dollars to stay there. When we went in, we saw the breakfast "breakfast" consisted of an old box of Cheerios and some coffee. When we went into the room, we saw a stained sink, an old tv, a dirty shower, and the roomed smelled horrible. We were afraid some guy would just climb into the window and... More

Room was nice/fresh, tv worked, fridge and m/w unplugged (couldn't plug them in) bathroom in serious need of updating, Sleep Number bed was uncomfortable. Usual towels from the carwash, ask for more. Stayed in king room 28... a little highway noise. About what you'd expect for an inexpensive highway motel in between Hartford and Boston.

Stayed here the night of September 19th, 2012. The motel is now called 'The Red Carpet Inn'. Quiet location. When we were there the place was about twenty percent occupied. Mostly hunters and contract workers for a national tree trimming company. Quiet group. We paid $58 for a room with a double 'sleep number' bed. Cable TV. The room was... More

This place sucks. The owners are cheap and rude. There are spiders in our room, hair dirt and filth in the bathtub, everything is outdated, and the bed is horribly uncomfortable, especially for a 'sleep number' bed. and it is the cheap bed, with an extremely loud motor and still ungodly uncomfortable. If we had the money we would be... More

Oh my. Fourteen hours on the road that day was no excuse. The place looks ok from the outside, but once in the rooms, not so much. Furniture hadn't been updated in probably 40 years. The TV got one channel. Heat didn't work. And the bathroom... looked like someone had tried to paint the tub and the sink, and that... More

This motel keep improving year by year. I stayed here in January 2012 with apprehension based on some of the other reviews I read, however - the people who worked here during my stay were very courteous. The whole mote was clean and everything looked better than last year.New room,New Heat-pump, New Carpet, New furniture. Location was awesome.

The ashford motel is a dump. The whole room is filthy and It smells horrible. The bed smells like a mixture of BO and cat urine. I had to use my own sheets and blankets. There was advertisements for prostitutes written on the inside of the desk drawers. Everything is out dated and just gross. I will never stay at... More
