We were really looking forward to staying in this campground from previous reviews and pictures/videos. So glad we booked here. It was one of the best campgrounds we've stayed. On check in we found out there was a $3 surcharge for water conservation or preservation. Not a biggie. This campground is immaculate with paved roads throughout, including at your campsite;... More

I would say that I liked my trip to Cherry Creek State Park for Camping and would have recommended this campground until today. My husband and I have two dogs and according to the brochure for camping the quiet hours are 10PM-6AM. Tonight which would have been our last night there we were approached by a park ranger at 7:30... More

We camped here for 2 nights with our 2 little kids. We were in the Cottonwood Grove loop which has basic sites with no electric or water. The sites are big & well spaced out & there's a lot of shade from big trees. The campground was clean & the facilities were awesome- clean bathrooms & showers, vending, wood for... More

Great camping & RV sites with a really great team of permanent & seasonal Park Rangers. They have really improved over the years to reduce the evening noise makers. With RVer's coming and going along with other guests, you still need to keep an eye on your kids especially while they are playing in the streets. We've seen very young... More

Oversized lots and easy access. Wonderful, well kept and clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of elbow room and campfires allowed. Deer in the park and large trees. One of the best state parks we've stayed in so far.

Camped here in a motörhome the first weekend in June while in Denver for a soccer tournament. Campsites level and not right on top of each other. We had full hook-ups, but there are sites for tents, etc as well. There are many bicyclists, runners, boaters, etc who use this beautiful area. Hard to believe you are in the city... More

Cherry Creek State Park is a HUGE park in the Denver metro area with a big reservoir for swimming, boating, & fishing, great trails for hiking, biking & running, and a WONDERFUL campground. We made our reservations more than 2 months ahead of time and our check in was quick and smooth. The campground is very clean and well maintained... More
