The lowest price inn in the AAA Tour Book turned out to be a wonderful surprise! On our annual Ski trip to Colorado this year we decided to ski Aspen and needed an economical place to stay. We consulted the AAA book and dropped in on the Annabelle Inn. Each room is beautifully decorated in a different motif and is... more

Stayed for a week in Dec 2009. Hotel is close to centre of Aspen (~6/7min walk); bus stops to Aspen, Highlands, Snowmass + Buttermilk are right outside. Has a boutiquey feel to it. Room was tastefully decorated, if not the biggest for 2 blokes. Very comfortable beds, great shower. Charly is a very friendly and helpful inn keeper and made... more

We took our first trip to Aspen this summer. When we checked into the Annabelle Inn we were greeted by T.K. He was so welcoming and when he became aware that it was our anniversary he upgraded us to a premium room at no charge. The other two innkeepers, Danny and Charlie were equally wonderful. They mapped out great sightseeing... more

We stayed at the Annabelle Inn for a couple of days in July. We were greeted warmly by our innkeeper, Charley, who gave us maps and helpful information as soon as we checked in. As others have mentioned, two of the rooms face busy Main Street and the others face a quiet, lovely courtyard. We had one of the rooms... more

The Annabelle Inn has the amenities of a larger hotel with the comfort and personal touch you'd expect from a bed-and-breakfast. And it came at a price far below what we expected to pay for such accommodations in a world-class ski resort. Our room faced the courtyard and was stylish, clean and comfortable. We were told it was one of... more

My friend and I had always wanted to go to Aspen for a ski weekend, but feared we could not afford a hotel, and would not fit in with the beautiful people. Then we found the Annabelle. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The inn itself was very warm and cozy. And convenient to everything. And affordable! What more... more

Annabelle Inn would probably be better represented under the "Hotel" designation rather than "B & B." The continental breakfast was your typical chain hotel fare: coffee, juice, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs, and a few cold cuts. There were no home baked goodies you find at B & B's. There was a lovely gathering and reading room, but the front... more

Management response from

I wanted to take a few moments to respond to zoodocents review. Breakfast: We do offer freshly baked muffins at breakfast, although some days they do run out, perhaps this was the case while zoodocent was visiting. We also have our bagels and sliced breads (wheat, rye, 7grain, pumpernickle, and raisin are rotated) are delived fresh from a local bakery....

Nice inn on a busy street but we got a room facing the other way. The room was roomy, nicely decorated except we found no refrigerator there. The staff was kind enough to put some food in their refrigerator. The breakfasts were substanial and we packed some food for our hike that day. The only negative I have were the... more

We were so pleased with the charming adjoining rooms we booked, with great views and a nice balcony to sit and drink our coffee on. The staff was very, very friendly and had good recommendations on everything for dining establishments to hiking trails and fishing ponds. the location is very convenient - we walked into town for almost everything! Thanks... more

The price was a little higher than some places we considered but we're sure we made the right decision. Upon check-in the innkeeper advised that our room was being upgraded (at no charge) - something to do with accommodating a group. The room and inn were what we consider upscale and very clean and the staff was accommodating and helpful.... more
