When you visit Aspen make sure you stay in the Jerome. Not only is it a 5 star hotel, it is a piece of Colorado history. Restored to its original splendor, it is a step back in time to the days of gold and silver mining and big money. The rooms are fantastic. Spacious and comfortable. Huge bathrooms with all... more

Our 2 night stay during Aspen's off season was very rewarding in part based our stay at the Hotel Jerome. We negotiated a low rate based on the low occupancy rate and got one of the historic rooms toward the front. The room is very current with luxury features (including flat panel TV and internet connections). The hot tub was... more

I am not a fan of staying on main street or really old hotels. If you like historic sites you might like this place. Noisy, no ice machines. DO NOT got for the spa. It is over 1 mile away, can not run there in your robe for sure. Bath room was retro fitted well and rooms are large, I... more

Stayed at the property from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4th. A ski buddy and I stayed in room 446 and it was great. Very large with two very good queen beds. Plenty of room to spread out the gear. The staff was GREAT. Very friendly and accommodating in every way. They do have a large number of foreign employees (as... more

This is a grand old lady of a hotel that has got away with its tired fabric, poor heating and plumbing by providing great service with a smile. That was up until it was sold to its current owners last year who have changed most of the staff and in doing so lost the heart and soul of the hotel. The... more

The management of Hotel Jerome would like to thank the TripAdvisor members who have taken the time to share their candid reviews of their recent Hotel visits. Regularly, my team and I visit this website to learn from our guests. While alI of the staff members strive to exceed guest expectations, it is obvious that in a few instances we...

If you're looking for a luxury experience in Aspen, Hotel Jerome isn't it. The rooms are spacious and clean with Molton Brown ameninities, but I guess the best part ends there. The hotel is quaint, but I didn't see or experience the luxury I was expecting. Some of the furniture are so worn out (i.e. no springs in the sofa)... more

We stayed at the Jerome during Thanksgiving and would adamantly suggest people look elsewhere! We had planned to spend the holiday relaxing, reading, and just enjoying the amenities of the hotel. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed, we were actually quite excited to checkout and return home. We’re typically not all that picky and can adjust to the occasional bobble; however,... more

I hosted Thanksgiving in Aspen for family and friends and went with two of my guests to check in to The Jerome. We encountered lax service; no bellman, had to look for a valet and carried their own bags into the room (the first of three rooms that we viewed). All three rooms were old and unacceptable. Not charming old,... more

I just recently got back from a stay at the Hotel Jerome. I really wanted a great place to stay in Aspen and I went with very high expectations. From the second I arrived until the last minute I tore myself away from the plush bed my expectations were surpassed. The staff was great and very accommodating. The free shuttle... more
