My wife and I stayed here on an anniversary trip as a special treat. It is definitely a nice place. The rooms are elegantly furnished and the fireplace is a nice amenity. Downstairs the lobby is relaxing and lively for the apres ski crowd. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was very good but the menu is one... more

I was in Aspen for a corporate event so I need to preface these comments by saying that I wasn't personally paying for my stay. I was however very impressed with the service we received from every member of the staff - warm, courteous, helpful. The food was good but not excellent. The rooms are large with lots of storage... more

My husband, his family and I stayed at the Little Nell for 5 nights in Jan. I am not really a fan of cold weather, so the place was wonderful for a few days of hibernation. Aspen is such a quaint little village anyway and the 7 plus feet of snow (piled up) made it into a story book village.... more

Lovely room, calming ambience, staff who worked hard to make it a great stay ... BUT ... epensive, restaurant is average, free shuttle never available and expectation for tips and extra costs for parking and "resort fee" added significantly to the overall cost. Housekepeing was the best, always cheerful, helful and everything perfect, they deserve special mention. Ski concierge was... more

My wife gave these people a good review after our wedding last year based on promises they made to us to correct their failures and behaviors that absolutely destroyed our wedding and honeymoon a year ago. I am really p/o'd that they did not follow through on their promises now. Here is what happened: We had our wedding at the... more

PROS: 1. Excellent service. The staff doesn't know how to say no. 2. Ski valet 30 feet from Ajax gondola holds your skis and buys your lift tickets. They waxed my skis overnight without me asking. Hot coffee and cookies waiting at the end of the day. They also return rentals for you at the end of your stay. 3.... more

We booked this hotel after we visited the Jerome previously and we were a bit unsure as Jerome has always satisfied our needs. We have heard in the past that The Nell can be a bit snooty but this was not the case. We were always left astonished whenever we requested things that were not available, because the staff always... more

My husband and I stayed a the Little Nell for our anniversary in October. It was the off season, so the prices were very reasonable. There is not a lot to do in Aspen during the off season, so we spent a lot of our evenings in the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and the customer service exceeded our... more

My husband and I celebrated our anniversay in a couple of places, this was one of them. We were disappointed in Aspen, we're not skiers, it's off season and we're not crazy shoppers...so why Aspen? We thought we could relax and enjoy a great view from our hotel room etc., Unfortunately, the view from our room was construction, we were... more
