Summer is a more relaxing time in Aspen than the ski hubbub in the winter. We enjoyed the trip (by bus) up to Maroon Bells, hiking around there and taking pictures. You can drive up there before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m. but only buses are allowed during the day but that is a very satisfactory way to go... more

The new LImelight Lodge is a terrific place to stay. We stayed there over the 4th of July with our sons age 6 mos and 2 1/2 years. Check in was easy; the staff is really friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with 2 queen beds, plenty of closet space, large bathroom with granite countertops, and all the amenities.... more

We just got back from staying a week at the LImelight....recently rebuilt, the hotel has not lost any of its family run charm. If you want to stay in a beautiful place that makes you feel like your in a bed an breakfast this is the place. The lobby is glass enclosed giving you one of the best views of... more

Although it was a last minute decision, we could not have been happier with our choice to stay at the Limelight! The location is perfect! We were able to see the ski hill, walk to everything we wanted to do/see in Aspen and look out at the beautiful surrounding mountains!! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were better... more

I just wanted to talk about our great stay at the Limelight Hotel. I had a personal request and previous to our stay I emailed the manager, Forrest Woolery, and he was more than accommodating. Pete at the front desk made our check in very enjoyable and he pointed out some places to eat and what to see since we... more

The Limelight is spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere. Our room (deluxe with 2 queen beds & kitchenette) was roomy and nicely appointed with the granite counters in the kitchenette and bathroom. The only drawbacks to this room was the inadequate lighting and the bed pillows. We asked for help with the lighting, and they brought in 2 additional lamps.... more

I've stayed at several hotels in Aspen and the Limelight is the best so far! It's a brand new hotel with a perfect location in downtown Aspen. Our vacation was wonderful thanks to the great service of the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk agents took care of all our dinner reservations and concierge requests. I... more
