We absolutely loved our 3 day stay at Hearthstone. We traveled with another couple also celebrating their anniversary, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. This small to mid-sized B&B was immaculately clean and had excellent furnishings. The downtown core of Aspen is within 2-3 blocks, restaurants and shopping galore. Scott, Shannon and the entire staff were unbelievably accommodating... More

Was a solo traveller and it was so nice to come back from skiing and chat with fellow guests over a glass of wine and cheese staff friendly close to bus stop and easy walk to down town Was there for the start of the Winter Olympics we had a great view of the... Our stay at the Hearthstone House couldn't have been better. Excellent location two blocks from downtown Aspen and the free city busses to all of the other ski hills. Wonderful architecture and furnishings in the rooms and common areas. Everything is clean and high quality. The hot tub and comfy beds are prefect for sore muscles. The full, made-to-order breakfast... More

Many people think of skiing when they think of Aspen, but it is a great summer place, too, and the Hearthstone House is a great summer retreat. It is only a few blocks from great restaurants, five minutes from the city bus that takes you to the music tent, and just down the street from the Wheeler Opera House. This... More

The service at the Hearthstone is fantastic. You feel very welcome the minute you arrive- Scott and Shannon go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The breakfast is great and happy hour with cheese and wine is perfect after a day skiing.

Second time back at the Hearthstone and just as good as I remember it. Scott, Shannon and the team are super friendly and really create a home away from home for the guests. Great breakfast every morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon/evening adds a nice touch. If your travelling alone or a as couple the evening drinks are nice... More

While skiing with friends who stayed elsewhere, I stayed at Hearthstone House on my own. I have travelled extensively in my 62 years, staying in everything from YMCAs to six star hotels. Hearthstone House is up there with the best - it is a great place to stay! My room was very comfortable (I enjoyed the big leather armchair) and... More

Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Hearthstone House for another great visit. Special thanks to whoever was responsible for leaving two breakfast sacks outside our door for us to enjoy on our pre-dawn shuttle to Denver. I can't imagine such personal care being given at other hotels. The breakfast buffets and late afternoon wine and cheese parties made our... More
