Nice hotel and convenient to everything. Free rides to town, etc. Parking is pricey, as it is everywhere in Aspen. Bar is noisy and the pool crowded in late afternoon. There is a City Market not too far away.

Had a great visit to the Sky Hotel. Although it was strange to stay at a hotel that the bar (39 Degrees) and the restaurant were closed, the staff was awesome. Larry at the front desk was a wonderful host and upgraded us with delight and Chris did his job with a great attitude and smile! Love Kimpton Hotels!

This was a horrible and completely run-down property that seriously looked out of season for the last decade. Lobby / Pool / Spa: The lobby itself looked decent but the pool area and mini hot-tub left much to desire. The hot tub, the size of a small bathtub, was extremely dirty and the jets did not turn on despite pushing... More

Great location for skiing but a little tired for a Kimpton property. Food was excellent. Staff seemed very slow and also tired. Reservation wasn't correct. We had some issues that were rectified. Breakfast servers were really friendly and accommodating. Cute pool area, but small with one hot tub.

If you reserved because you think that you are going to have the kimpton service and quality then forget about it. If you booked because you want to be in an inexpensive hotel next to the gondola then I would say its the right choice. I stayed there over a weekend before the closing of the season. The rooms outside... More

Pros: Excellent location for skiing; you can come right of the slopes and practically fall into the hot tub. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet rooms. Excellent complimentary ski check. Cons: Design below Kimpton's usual standards, which is why it will soon be razed and replaced. Service spotty. Some excellent, some clueless.

We have stayed at almost all of the hotels at the base of the mountain and this is, by far, our favorite. The front desk staff are super helpful and accommodating. The après scene can't be beat. The pool is a blast, the robes are fun. The complementary cookies, coffee, hot cocoa- super thoughtful and give you something to look... More

We adored this little quirky property, and wished we could stay longer. Unbeatable location, fun decor and really friendly, helpful staff. This property was full of surprises - from the complimentary cookies, wine tasting to the tiger print robes! It has so much personality & flair - bit sad that it is going to be bulldozed! Lets hope the new... More

Very well located, Aspen is actually a very little and cozy town. The view is amazing, located at the foot of the huge and marvelous Aspen Mountain. You just walk one block to access the mountain and the magnificent Gondola's 14 minutes' ride to the top of the mountain. The rooms are not the nicest, but they are very clean,... More

From when we arrived to when we left the staff were so attentive. Our room was wonderful, even though the wonderful Sky Bar was on the same floor we never heard a sound from it. The drinks in the evening with a chance to meet the Manager were very tastefully handled with lovely wine and eats. Restaurant breakfast buffet was... More
