My girlfriend and I stayed here on 4-July-2008. Nice, but expensive. Since it was a holiday weekend, the hotel price/rate was quite expensive (nearly $300/night). It is an older building with wall air conditioners, but they try to make up for the building age by providing nice, modern, quality furnishings. However, there may be some electrical problems as the power... more

Let me begin by saying that I did not actually stay at the Hotel Aspen. However, I was supposed to stay there during the extremely busy holiday season. This meant that when I booked my room it was during the cancellation time period (30 days) - in other words my card was charged immediately even though my stay wasn't scheduled... more

Spent a week for skiing and loved it. The updates are nice, the beds are comfortable, and complimentary breakfast and happy hour is great. No, the food wasn't to die for but that's what all the great restaurants are for in town - and you can afford them because you're paying half the price of the other places nearby. It... more

I booked a room for the weekend in hopes for a relaxing weekend with my family. Because we travel with our dogs, we chose this hotel because it's one of a few in the area that allow dogs. When I made my reservation, I requested a Deluxe King room on the first floor, and the person on the phone confirmed... more

We arrived in Aspen on October 3rd intending to look at a few hotels before booking one, but were convinced once we saw the rooms at Hotel Aspen. They have obviously been renovated and although a bit dark (our room was on the first floor), was clean and modern. They had great bed linens, towels, robes and even a DVD... more

The room was very good size, with an internal balcony. It had a sink, free dvds for tv, and comfortable beds. It was quiet, although near the road. The bathroom could do with freshening up. the breakfast was quite good.We could walk to town centre.Would return. more

I needed to be in Aspen for a work trip. I read the mixed reviews about Hotel Aspen on Trip Advisor, but booked a room anyway because it was much less expensive than anyplace else for what I needed. Fortunately, my co-worker and I had a great experience. The room was really nice and definitely a step above your average... more

I booked my stay at the hotels fantastic website with easy booking tool, [--]. The hotel is extremely well located as I had remembered from many years back when I had stayed. You can tell that the new ownership is going the extra distance as my room had new carpet, drapes, dvd player, awesome fireplace and the helpful staff said... more

1.On 23 October, 2006 I made the reservation through the internet, paid 50% of it and paid the rest of it a month before I have arrived at the hotel, total 3,360.33 US$. 2.On 28 January, 2007 we have arrived at hotel Aspen and to our surprise we discovered that the room and the amenities are not as promised in... more

A bud and I escaped the fam for a weekend ski trip and given that our flight from DEN was cancelled (snow storm), it still turned out well. It 's a double-edged sword: fresh pow, but no flights. Thankfully, United Airlines scrambled a comfy tour bus to get us there the same day: Kudos to United! We checked in at... more
