My husband and I spent 3 nights at this location and every thing was great. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. It was home away from home. The location was very convenient. We would definitely go back to this hotel again and again. The customer service rep at front desk and housekeepers were very pleasant. more
What a great place! The decor was so appropriate. What's not to like?... fireplace, antler chandelier, comfy beds, natural wood decor, the whole thing was so Colorado rustic. Fantastic place. more
Our stay at the L'auberge d'Aspen was lovely! We had cabin 22 and it was decorated very cute! It had a bathroom, kitchenette, sitting area and a loveseat. It was clean and tidy. The short walk to the downtown was very nice. You get a chance to see some of the lovely homes in Aspen. It sat right on the... more
Most dissapointing portion of our week long trip to the Colorado Mts. Burnt out lightbulbs, torn furniture, smelly rooms, worn carpet and much smaller than described on the web. The worst part was the desk attendant who would not allow us to look elsewhere without loosing a nights stay. I had asked the same clerk on the phone when making... more
We booked one of the most expensive "rooms" - paid nearly $350 per night. The "cabin" stunk of old cigarettes, the carpet was stained, had an old queen mattress that was worn out, just plan run down and poorly maintained The couch was stained, the ac did not work, overall just lousy place. The noise from the street is awful... more
Arriving at L'auberge D'aspen is like stumbling into an enchanting grove of fairy tale cottages. Our cottage was a delightfully appointed two-story "suite" featuring a downstairs master bed/bath and gas fireplace and upstairs pull-out couch, gas fireplace, bathroom and kitchenette. Despite Lilliputian proportions, it would fit four adults easily. Probably not so good if your knees can't handle steep stairs... more
Had a great experience, was near a busy street, the back of the cabins facing the mts and the front of the entire property faced main street, but the noise was very minimal. My wife being from Chicago, and myself loving a more mountainy experience, this was a nice blended compromise. Within short walking distance to shopping, the gondola, art... more
We stayed at L'Auberge during a skiing trip to Aspen in early 2005. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided at the nearby Innsbruck Hotel, but this hotel will close this year, so breakfast will probably not be provided in future The cabin had apparently been renovated and was warm, clean, comfortable and relatively quiet considering its main... more
The Cabins will fall down in a strong wind! I don't like parking the car next to the door; the cabins are smaller than they appear on the Web Site; The cabins are next to a busy Main Street; They smell like Lysol (strong); I think it's a 1 star and not 3 star; I stayed 5 minutes and left. more
